Almost is a thing of the past with this hose. It reaches to the back of the Jacuzzi tub allowing you to rinse your hair at your leisure without having to use dirty bath water or stand up for the shower. I put an inline cutoff valve at the far end and screwed the hand want into it so that I could stop the water flow without having to get up. Almost long enough is no longer in my vocabulary. Keep an eye on the washers as they will pop out easily during installation. Also the shorter attachment sleeve goes on the shower end and the longer sleeve on the wand end so that it will fit into the wand holder slot on the base. Now you won't have to put it on twice like I did. No tools, hand tighten.

The 8 foot shower hose from Zitriom is probably one of my best purchases ever from Amazon! It is well made, does not restrict the water flow and installed in just a few minutes on my older Ondine hand held shower unit. There were no leaks and the only thing I goofed on was reversing the ends. The small "nut" end screws on the hand held unit and the larger "nut" screws on the shower wall nozzle. Leave it to me to get it backwards! No Teflon tape was necessary, no problem with cross threading and it was easily tightened by hand. I also am impressed that the hose does not kink and feels smooth to the touch. Definitely beats having to replace the whole shower system just because of an old leaky hose! Excellent product and well worth the price!Note: 08/25/17. Just ran across my review on the 98 inch shower hose. It has been in daily use for five months now and is still like new! No leaks, discoloration, cracking, splitting etc...GREAT PRODUCT!!!

We wash our dogs in the bathtub and this gives us the length we needed to reach all over our dogs to rinse. It is also helpful in cleaning to rinse the shower walls of cleansers.

Leaks like a sieve. The attached pictures are from this morning - less than 2 months after the initial installation. Yes, I used thread sealing tape and no, it's not leaking from the areas that I attached. The primary source of the spraying (not leaking) is where the hose connects to the part that screws in to the head.

leak after 3 months.Be aware of this cheap made fake hose. The inside is actually just a thin robber hose. Do not be fool by the outside.

It really is stainless steel!!! The shower sets you buy from the leading manufacturers say "nickel finish" but guess what??? It is plastic!!! So if you tighten it and it still leaks and you tighten it a little more the plastic cracks. This extra long hose truly is made of steel and you can feel that! Also it has great handling not the stiff unwieldy plastic covered hose. I LOVE it!!!!

Great fit to replace a broken/spraying Delta shower hose. The one cone-shaped/tapered side fits in the original mount perfectly, while the "stubby" side fits the base to a "T" with nary a leak or unwanted spray to be found. The added length is a great addition when using the shower head to clean or rinse out something, like a bucket, larger items, without having to "aim, pray and spray" hoping not to make a mess!

Impressive, flexible enough that you don't have to be a contortionist to hold your ground... brass mating ? surface as opposed to plastic/poly that actually was chipped on the one replaced.. the extra length is a bonus.. I figure there has to be a compromise in the construction somewhere.. just using the price as a gauge.. sofar it's a wonderful item that if you miss once if you have the stiff ones..
