The Magic Thief: Found (Magic Thief, 3)

An Exciting story with Exotic Characters
The Magic Thief:Found is the third and final instalment of The Magic Thief series. It has a great adventure with exotic characters including twists and turns in the story. The book has wonderful art work throughout which really adds to the story. The story answers a lot of the questions wondered about from the first two books such as: What is slow silver? or Where did slow silver come from?Sarah Prineas writes with more versatile landscape than in the first two and adds more maturity in the characters. For parents looking for great reads for their children--there is no real violence and focuses on good verses evil. It ends well and everything is resolved peacefully.

Good bedtime reading for ages 4 to 8
I have read this series of books aloud at bedtime to my kids who are aged 4 and 8. It is rare to find a book that has the right vocabulary and pacing to keep the 4 year old with us and not lose the interest of the 8 year old. This book (and the series) does that and I highly recommend them for bedtime reading. Chapters are a good length for bedtime reading (10 to 15 minutes on average), and the stories tell well in chapter format.

This ended much too soon.
Excellent book and a brilliant chapter in this storyline. Agree with reviewer who said he/she was not yet ready to say goodbye to Conn and his friends. We barely met Pip who you KNOW could cause all sorts of problems with the Magisters and Sunrise. Am hoping Ms. Prineas will continue this series with new books. I would readily pay the same fee for more of Conn that I do for Harry Potter and J.D.Robb. I don't suppose a petition would be effective or inspiring to Ms. Prineas.Get the book. You won't be sorry until you reach the end. At the end, you will be sorry it IS the end. (sigh)

Nightly read
I read this book nightly to my kiddos. For me, I felt the content was a solid mix of excitement and mystery with a nice conclusion. The antagonist probably could have been introduced a bit earlier and more discovery around lore ultimately making the series 4 instead of 3. The first book was really solid and 2 & 3 little more run of the mill. But, let my 9 year old be the judge. She always wanted to read more every night!

Stunning series
Magic Thief, the first in this series of 3, was my daughters set work book of recommended reading. I saw her devour the book, laugh out loud, and shed a tear more then once. She begged to read the other 2, and loved them as much.On her insistence I read the series and was unable to put them down.I hope this is not the last we see of Nevery and Connwaer. Or from Sarah Prineas.

A huge hit with me and my boys
Sarah Prineas is a fantastic author. We read the first Magic Thief about 6 months ago as a bed time story to my kids. They loved it so much they asked to join her fan club and find out what else she has written.Found is a little faster paced than "Lost", the previous book in the series. With the addition of Pip, the main character's tiny pet dragon, the book keeps you curious about this unpredictable creature will do. This is a must read. I have been enjoying it so much I find myself offering to read two to three chapters a night.

Yes, another great book for the series. Hate to see it end.
Well this was a good story and made it tuff to see it end.The book continued to move well, characters and relationship continued and grew.It was a good ending since it was not a "cliche ending" but some may not like that, still maybe it could be used to launch a followup for an older Conn story?????Sad to see it end but enjoyed the story and will keep in on the Kindle for sometime in the future to re-read when I have had time to forget much of it with all the other fantasy reads I do.

Love this series
Although this series is likely for children, it is amazing enough to grab the heart and interest of adults too. I only gave it 5 stars because it wasn't possible to give it more - but I would give it 100 if I could. 😊

The Magic Thief:Found
Am sad. I have finished the trilogy, and what an incredible read they all were. Poor Conn, always in trouble, but yet he is a great little hero.I will not spoil the whole of the narratives, but will just say that once you start to read the first one in the series, it is so spellbinding that you have no choice but to continue reading about Conn, and his Masters adventures, until you have finished the full trilogy.Superbly written, and both enchanting and enthralling in every way.Enjoyment guaranteed.

Greeeeaaaat
I have read all three books and they are so good. I wish there had been a fourth book with more adventures for Connawaer. The third and last book reveals a lot more into the magical world of adventures. I enjoy Conns sense of honesty and innocence with very truthful perceptions of people around him. He sometimes cannot save himself because he has no evidence and in this book he does reach the apex of being punished. I was completely awe struck at the end. Thank you Sarah Prineas for writing this book.

Fantastic read
I have been re-reading magic thief and magic thief: lost for years and only recently found out about the third book: found. After buying and reading the first few pages I instantly fell in love with it and hope there are more to come in the magic thief series. This is a fantastic trilogy for all ages and everyone should have a copy of the books.P.S Who else thinks that Conn and Rowan will eventually fall in love?
