I bought this at Crate&Barrel, but no matter where you buy it, Peal's ice molds are REALLY nice! The mold in some sort of wire frame so that when you grab their ice trays (cube or this globe/ball design), the tray isn't flimsy- it's solid like a plate!As for this globe/ball ice cube tray, it's the only one I've tried that finally, FINALLY, doesn't leak all over the place and require additional funnels and tubes to make a simple ice cube. The ice balls come out really nice every time and yup, perfect!

The mold you receive is not the mold that is pictured. The mold you receive does not have the squared lips around the edges of the spheres, the edge is contoured against the sphere so that when you fill it, and it doesn’t stay together to create a seal, which it never does, water spills all over your floors. The mold I received I already own and it’s awful i it’s Hate it. I saw This and thought that they had altered the design to improve their product but wound up with 2nd of the useless mold I already own, very frustrating

This product was just ok it doesn’t seal well especially if water gets out once the ice was made it just looks like a ball nothing special in no way I’m sure there’s better quality on the market

Threw mine away after trying to use it one time. The two halves don’t seal and you will either have half a sphere or spilled water in your freezer.

Works well but takes time to setup

I have a bunch of different W&P ice trays and they're all great - except this one. I've had it around a year and after maybe 6 months it developed a very distinct chemical smell that it imparts onto the ice, ruining cocktails. Only ever washed and used with plain water. None of my other W&P trays have done it, I'm beginning to wonder if I received a counterfeit product. Unlike the other trays, it doesn't include any W&P logo or branding, but I haven't had a chance to compare it to another sphere tray, so unsure if this is normal.
