Easy install, solved the problem of a broken key.
Grandchild broke grandfather clock key - an accident. I had to replace the lock also because piece of key was caught in lock. This was a great solution!! A cinch to install!

Problem Solved!
We purchased a Sligh grandfather clock over 20 years ago. Opening the lock mechanism to wind the clock and to change the chime sound wore out the lock mechanism. When we contacted the clock store we were told that Sligh had gone out of business and the lock mechanism was no longer available. On a whim I did an Amazon search for Sligh clock lock mechanism and this is what came up. I gave it a try and it was a 5 minute exact solution. Two wood screws to take out the old mechanism and put in the new one and problem solved! Works like new! 5 Stars!
