Does the wolf blender come with an auger?

Just the blades that are attached at base of pitcher. No additional auger.

Anyone made puree or baby food with it- can you get it silky smooth or is more like applesauce?

Yes, as far as I can see this isone of the best blenders around. It is sturdy and really nice looking in the Kitchen. You will t be disappointed. When making applesauce expect a silky smooth sau with no lumps.
