Charging Case Compatible with Plantronics Voyager 5200, Charger Dock Case Cover with USB Cable for Voyager 5200

Bought this charging case as was unhappy with the Poly one that came with my Poly V5200 Voyager head set, and found that this aftermarket charger seems at first to connect more soundly, ensuring charging in either position.

The product arrives in good condition

Feels pretty light and plastic so it's feels kind of weird putting the earpiece in it. It works well enough, but the earpiece needs to be jimmied somewhat to get the contacts to touch just right each time I put it in, so I always need to check for the indicator lights. It works well enough to satisfy me. The part that catches me is that I often forget to switch off the earpiece before putting it in the box so I end up having it in there for hours without charging at all. That's a feature of the earpiece though. In all contexts for charging it, it must be turned off in order to charge. I'm more satisfied with the box now than I was when I initially bought it.

This charger is inadequate and cheaply made. When opening the case, the cheap plastic sounds like it's breaking and does not open smoothly. Also, there's only two charging wires that connect with the ear piece. VERY CHEAP!!!

Easy to set up. Battery lasts a long time. Good sound and clarity.

Its exactly what I was looking for in charging my Voyager Bluetooth.

I use the Polyvore earpiece at work for phone calls and meetings. This was provided to me by the company I work for and it works great for that purpose. These things are NOT cheap.Imagine my horror when my puppy got a hold of the charging case and absolutely eviscerated it.I could have purchased the "actual" charging case from Amazon, but luckily for me I found this one for a fraction of the price!From a picture, you would be forgiven for believing they are identical.The reality however, is that they most certainly are NOT.This version does charge the headset, but it has to be in the case "just so" or it absolutely will not work. I find it works slightly better when the case "door" is slightly open.My other gripe is that you can most definitely feel just by holding the two cases that this one is much lower quality: the heft simply isn't there. The differences are apparent the second you open the box.With all of that said, I WOULD purchase this again, and I absolutely expected this not to be the same level of quality as the "OG" as it isn't the original, and the price alone would make an identical build basically impossible. The bottom line is that even with its quirks, it does what it's designed to do, and for that I am grateful.

It worked great. For the first 6 weeks. After that...poof! Dead. And the company did not help. My unit died just after the warranty periods expired. They wouldn't replace it. The unit stopped charging and wouldn't recharge and I tried different cables and chargers in order to start something. It is now a cheap plastic brick.
