These are great starter buttons for you to use with your pup to see if it's something that's going to work for the both of you. If I'm being picky, they're a bit too large for my corgi puppy and it takes him a couple tries to have enough pressure to press down on them fully which can cause some frustration for your pup while learning but I can't image that would be a problem for bigger dogs. And it still wasn't too much of a problem for me and my dog, just something to note if you have a even tinier puppy. Noise level and clarity is great and recording was super easy. I'm still happy I purchased these to start training my pup on them before moving on to the more expensive ones.

I was quite thrilled to receive these items. Regrettably, upon finally taking them out and inserting batteries, I discovered that the purple button in mine is non-functional. It fails to record any input; and therefore when the button is pressed nothing happens. However, the blue, pink, and yellow buttons are working perfectly. My puppy is already beginning to learn how to press them and communicate with them.

These were great, but my cat wouldn't use them, to I gave them to a neighbor who has cats.

cute story. decided to use these for a cat i know who is very communicative. She watched me put in the batteries and smelled each battery. watched me program each one and smelled each one. I put on the floor with an item in front of each button that related to that button ie. brush in front of brush one, harness in front of the walk one etc. We sat together on the couch and I pressed the one that says "brush". Hit the button then brushed her. then I took her paw and pressed it on the button (so she's pressing the button herself) the button says "brush" and I brush her. Then Miss cat in a complete sentence says to me, "Why do we need a button cuz every time I ask you to brush me you do?" Then she gave me the sign for brushing, and I brushed her a couple strokes. Then Miss cat says, "See!" Roasted by a cat. She continued to give me all the usual signs. As far as she was concerned, why change something that is already working. Ha! Ha! Very smart cat! I have some other cats in mind to try them on though. If you store them, take out the batteries. The buttons are very easy to push (really great for cats) and if the package gets nudged, the buttons might start talking.

I do not use these for dogs, rather I use them in my classroom! They are so fun! I use them to play music (30 seconds of a song) to pace time. For example, when getting ready to transition to science instruction I press the button and they have 30 seconds to get those materials ready. I can re-record whenever I feel like changing the music. The smart board offers similar features but kids have enough screens already. These are louder than you’d think they are.

I bought this as a gift, and despite what some of the other reviews say about the audio, my sister has had no issues with it. They are loud enough, you can hear them very clearly (even when watching them in use via video).

Works fine, recording audio quality is average, but perfect for voice. My toy poodle often need multiple tries to activate the button, but it's on him to understand how to push because the button is easily activated. Overall it is fun to teach you dog to send you messages you understand instead of barking. Once the 4 buttons are used seamlessly, I'll definitely buy some more.

Ma quale pulsante per addomesticare animali..... è l' idea più geniale per fare dei biglietti d' auguri strepitosi!! Io l' ho usato per questo; come nei cartoni animati, ho scritto un biglietto ed ho inserito il pulsante in una scatolina di legno totalmente anonima... è PIACIUTO PIU' QUESTO CHE IL REGALO! Registrazione precisa e pulita, pulsante bello da premere... Io lo straconsiglio!
