Westwood boring?
A bit boring. Read the out of print "An unfashionable life" by Jane Mulvagh for a much better (& trashy) account of the greatest fashion designer of the late 20th & 21st century.

A truthful biography, full of Northern charm!
What an amazing story. I knew a little of her life as I’ve always been fascinated by her fashion. It’s an honest book, written with integrity and insight. From an historic point of view it’s really engaging, because what she has designed and achieved will go into the history books of the future. It left me wanting more, which to me is a sign of a good read. I’d recommend this book to anyone.

10 star's This book is a gem.
This book is amazing, I started it yesterday and can't put it down. The way Ian Kelly hasWritten this book is genius, it just flow's then you can't wait to get to the next bit.I did'nt realise VIvienne had such a hard life while bringing up her 2 son's, but got through withan amazing positivity. So fantastic that her life turned it's self around, she truely has somethingspecial, it's called "No Fear".I really think every teenager needs to read this, as Viv was about letting go of the fears societyput's on you from cradle to grave, and just to be yourself, do what you want. It may take until your mid 30's but that's o.k you'll learn so much stuff along the way as she did.She also lives up to her word, No Surgery to look younger, she's an Artist aging is anotherchapter for her. She look's amazing here, and will always be a Punk, Viv and Johnny the 2 greatest punk's ever. Fantastic read. X

I really enjoyed reading Viviennes story
I really enjoyed reading Viviennes story. I remember the Worlds End shop well back in the 70s. I was 16 then and use to love looking at the clothes in there, not that I ever saw Vivienne there. I remember Jordan though.I has no idea that Malcolm was as much of a control freak as he was. I also had no idea that Vivienne campaigns so avidly for saving the rain forests either. Well done Vivienne, you are a champion!

Viva Viv!
What a life! Fascinating, talented, outspoken woman. Managed to flourish in a cut-throat industry and went from outsider to national treasure. This book does give quite a clear picture of how this all happened but is a little bit disjointed due to the interview format. Still a great read though.

top notch
Westwood can't but speak engagingly, and this book gives us in plenty her words through the years. even if you don't care much about the loves in her life - and I don't, am just glad she knows love so well - it's the sense of curiosity and creativity that never leaves her, and is so inspiring
