This cross-utility pack can transport a crossbow, gun, or bow. Aside from being the first pack to carry crossbows - the Crossover is another great solution for a true "all-season" pack. The set-up works equally well for treestands, turkey hunting, or rifle hunting - whether toting your gun or bow.

Not the best for older recurve crossbows
The good: Product is well made with what appear to be durable materials. It did a good job of holding my deer hunting shotgun.Reason I returned it: The width of my Excalibur Crossbow (37") made the use of this difficult if one had to go through a narrow opening, even if I turned sideways. Also the bottom drop holder had the support straps sewn on the same side which meant one strap had to twist to get an in-line position to match the butt of the crossbow.

Must have for cross bow and rifle hunters
I have had this pack going on two years. Its tough and very convenient. Its comfortable on the back and shoulders. The multiple pockets are a dream to most crossbow hunters. I can carry everythng I need to my location including the monopod. Its a great pack for a great price. You can also carry a rifle as well in which I will do since I just puchased one. If your a hunter that camps and hikes takes long hiking trip to your hunting spot then get this you will not be disappointed.

First GamePlan Purchase
Did not care for it at first, found it IMO to be rather heavy at 4 1/2 lbs. I used it all of the 2015 season here in Michigan and it certainly grew on me. I am small framed (5' 7"/170 lb), have a bad back and try to minimize. I used it with a Wicked Ridge Ranger w/scope and it fit very well. Many useful pockets (use one for my detachable quiver), very comfortable, nicely padded against my back and carry straps, very sturdy material and stitching (hence, the weight). Easy on, easy off, easy to fill, lift and find all items in the pockets. Never lashed it to a tree and cut off the straps to do so. Personal choice. I paid $60 shipped and have absolutely no regrets, excellent value, expect it to last many seasons.
