7.2V Cordless Grass Shear & Shrubbery Trimmer

I was looking for an alternative to a traditional string trimmer due to the narrow and low areas I need to trim grass around (under/around fencing, tight corners etc). Took a shot with this hand trimmer and am THRILLED with my purchase. I've only used the grass shear attachment so far but it works great. Very powerful and trims consistently. I felt like I used it for quite some time and the charge held no problem. The attachment head is super easy to pop on/off. You do get a little hand-crampy from having to hold the power trigger down but this thing works so well I can ignore that. Would recommend 100%.

Works as expected. Needed a small, lighter, cordless trimmer and this one fits the bill. Charge lasts through hours of yard work. Good for grasses and stronger stem plants not good for trimming wooded foliage. Very pleased with this purchase.

I got tired of using the hand clippers to trim my perennial shrubs, ,so I purchased this instead. I like that it cuts easily, especially if you use upward movements to allow the twigs to fall into the blades. I did buy a used version, and the charging light doesn't work. But it does lite up when it is running. The combination safety switch and power button is a little stiff, and I found my hand tiring after some minutes of use. But I really like it and plan to use the grass blade to trim grass in one garden bed.

I am so happy with this purchase. I was afraid it would stop working as it is a light tool. Charge covers enough time for me to achieve what I needs. Easy to use and handle is practical for petite hands. The grass shear is what I have used multiple times, makes trimming grass fast and easy. Quality is great! My grassy area is small, but within a few minutes, I was able to get the work done.

This is a handy little trimmer. Well built, sturdy but yet fairly lightweight. Runs smoothly. The battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. The blades are very sharp. Super easy to change the attachments. The design allows you to get into tight spaces. And the shrubbery trimmer attachment is THE BOMB!! This shear/trimmer has made my life so much easier. I didn’t deduct a star for it but do want to mention that the safety feature of having to push forward the safety-lock button on top while also squeezing the on/off trigger is a little hard for me. I have small hands and some arthritis so it may be easier for others. Still, I manage and once I get going it’s not a huge issue. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Worth the price in my opinion. Would buy again.

I agree with comments by other "good enough" reviewers and agree that they are worth the investment. I was going to buy hedge clippers but since I'm now 77 years old and do not have the upper body strength of my middle years and ran through possible catastrophic futures, I appreciated wielding these well-balanced trimmers instead. No fatigue. The most difficult task was engaging the safety lock with my thumb and then pushing the power button. I had snapped on the mini hedger. Easy. And tried to cut my privet hedge. This was at the limit of my new pink tool's range. So I switched to cutting flowering shrubs: excellent. And even green shoots from an oak stump that refuses to give up. I cut Mexican sage, using the weight of the stems and working with an upswing and was happy with the results. Green wisteria vines, great; woodier, not so much. Overall, I am quite satisfied with what this little machine can do. I didn't try the second grass shear attachment, so engaging was the mini-chainsaw. The trimmer only jams when pushed past its capacity. I can live with that.

Nice, lightweight trimmer, comfortable to hold. Enjoyed using it off and on for 15 months to edge around sprinklers or light trimming on bushes, but then it suddenly wouldn't charge any more. We only used it a couple of times a month, if that. My thumb got a workout pushing the power switch on, especially when I needed to turn it on frequently as I worked my way around the yard. It takes a little force. Wish we could replace the battery and get the trimmer working again instead of having to buy a whole new trimmer.

I love this thing! Please let it hold up!! I got it to trim the tall grasses away from our steps going down into the river. I used the grass shear attachment and was able to do the whole area in one charge, with battery to spare. I have several other uses in mind and I feel, after seeing it power through some significant heavy growth, that it will do the job.

I bought this mainly to do light trimming on my plants, and it’s been great for that. It’s very lightweight and comfortable to use, which makes small trimming jobs quick and easy. I usually use it for about an hour and then put it back on the charger. For the type of work I bought it for, it does exactly what I need. Very handy little tool. I really like it and would definitely recommend it for light trimming around the garden.

Great little cordless shears. They do an excellent job. They are very easy to use. I enjoy going out and weeding around my garden with them. The only problem that I see is: Where do you buy replacement parts, like a new set of blades and the cord to charge the machine?

Handy and works for easy yard work. Like it.
