Creative GigaWorks T20 2.0 Speaker System - Black - 50 Hz to 20 kHz - 2 Pack

Great pair of speakers. Let me get to the most important little item for me anyway. Two audio input connections. Using two cables, and a splitter on a single connection you lose some power and it cuts the volume in half. I am sure some techie could explain why. So two connector inputs I can use my Amazon Dot, and my Television through the same speakers. That was a big deal for me as I play a ton of music through my Dot. The base is good. It serves my purposes well and I don't have the clutter of a subwoofer. Now if you want shaking base, you will probably want to get a set of speakers with a sub. But for great sound and a good little thumpy base these do a fine job. When listening to a movie, I can ear the dialog well and the music score and base explosions fine. They don't seem to muddy into one another. They are a great little set of speakers if you want to stay under 100 bucks. The music sounds fantastic and the television has more beef now than from the standard set of television speakers I had. Love em, I will post more on this review as needed in the future.

These speakers sound great and are reasonably priced. They are simple analog speakers that plug into your sound output jack. It is harder to get it out of the packaging than it is to set it up. I wish it didn't have the big power supply in the AC cord. I already have too many of those.

I have owned these speakers since 2017. They were used sparingly until 2020 when I started using them for at least 8 hours a day. The sound, the volume, the design are all top notch for me. I grew up in the 90s when Compaqs and Gateways included those incredibly crappy speakers along with their computers. The ones that would clip on to the sides of the CRT? Those were the days. These speakers are a modern classic. I did a lot of research back when I built my first pc in 2017 and I had a limited budget and I went with the T20 series because I lived in a small apartment and this unit offered excellent value for the money. Once I used them, I knew I would never need more than what they provide. These provide such clear sound that I have been okay putting off getting studio monitors even though I have a much bigger space now and the room for bigger speakers. If I wanted more than what these already offer, I would get a full 5.1 or better sound system. I'm curious how much better the T40 and T60 units are compared to these, but like I said, they have been performing flawlessly for years and just continue to impress me so I will just keep them. It has great connectivity and compatibility. The right side speaker has connections on the back for power in, 3.5mm aux in, and a component cable that runs to the left side speaker. On the front there are x2 3.5mm audio jacks for aux in and headphone out. The right speaker also has 3 knobs - one that turns the speakers on and adjusts the volume, one that adjusts treble, and one that adjusts bass. The only light on the device is the blue light around the volume knob to indicate that the unit is on. Honestly, the only complaints I have about the unit are that I wish the wire to connect the two speakers together was much longer. It's long enough for a normal sized desk but I have a giant L shaped standing desk and if I try to put the speakers further apart, I don't have enough slack in the cable to neatly route and hide them. This could be solved by buying a longer cable to replace it with. My other complaint is that amongst at least 10 different devices power supplies, this speaker's power supply is the only one that emits a high pitched whine similar to a coil whine? I suppose this is replaceable and I hope it's just a case of bad luck on the psu but it has been otherwise working fine. I highly recommend these speakers if you are considering them.

The sound produced by these speakers is good but beware, there are no cables included to hook up to the source! I just happened to dig out an old cable that allowed me to hook up to my desktop. Update: Please ignore previous comments. I found the cable.

Can't beat the sound quality. I had Bose speakers previously, these are every bit as good.
