Great idea the definitely out some thought into it, however It never worked properly for me. The barb was strong but still bent out of shape. The hole the laser shines through constantly gets full of debris. And the tip gets bent making the removal of that debris from shot to shot almost impossible. The magnet that activates it got pulled off by the strjng when fired the forst nughtbout... At night it's ok daylight no way! Great idea not there yet.

worthless junk
Having been bowfishing for 2 years now, I saw this awhile back and thought, "well what the heck.. this might work" Tried it during the daytime, but the laser was impossible to see. tried the next night, I could see the laser (barely), but the hollow point on this is worthless. After about 5-6 hits, I swapped the tip out with a home-made tip, and my home-made tip worked way better than this. When you land a hit on any fish, it doesn't penetrate, it bounces off and the fish spins around in the water. And it isn't for lack of power on my bows part, I'm pulling 105 lbs of draw weight with a 32 inch draw, with a good tip, in clear water I've landed some nice fish in water 12-14 feet deep. If you want a good bowfishing tip, try Muzzy or Cajun Archery. They make some awesome tips and arrows.

Junk
For bowfishing under lights it's invisible and takes more time to clean out the tip than it's worth after every shot. Get a bow mounted laser and don't waste your money

Straight in the trash.
Found this exact product on eBay for $20. I figured I'd try it out at that price. I think I shot it a total of three times in the water before I changed arrows. The debris is a huge problem but I found that once the tip got wet the dot from the laser was very blurry and hard to find. Also like the other guy said Snell's law it just flat out doesn't work.

snake oil.
Snell's law works on any light source going into or out of water, so even if the laser hits the fish, the light has bent so unless this corrects the arrows flight path it won't work any better than aiming at the fish on the surface. Check out Snell's law before you buy this snake oil.
