I hard wired the interior lighting to a toggle switch. I'm not a loose wires fan. They look great. I wanted to bedazzle my daughter's first car. These coupled with some leds in the floor did the trick

I bought this to make my dash look cooler and boy it did the trick!!! I love this so much, it took me about 30 minutes to install and I am a novice at best. I will say though, the piece that you shove in between your dash components wouldn’t always fit/my dash wouldn’t separate in some places to allow for the installation. I used the viral thick double sided mounting tape and trimmed it to size to stick those parts of the wire where they made the most sense and it looks seamless that way! Definitely looking around my car to see where I can put more next.

I bought this strip Ten months ago, At first I noticed that the color was really dim. And did not work for the last three months. There was still a little bit of blue coming from the strip at night. Well, fast forward to today and leaving Aspen. Colorado, all of a sudden, my truck fills up with smoke. That smells like electrical and come to find out the relay that attaches to the strip, shorted out and was still smoking. And was going to catch on fire. I removed it and found the relay with a big hole in the side, and super hot. Was plugged in to a USB with the relay hidden behind the panel. Will never buy this product or recommend it. Also it had a buzzing noise that was super annoying.

The media could not be loaded. It was really easy to install, just takes some playing around with to find the best starting point. I love the ice blue color. It's not too bright. It does make a soft high pitch whine sound but it's not super noticeable over your radio. I unplug mine during the day since you can't see it in the light anyway. I have a 2019 Toyota Rav4 and ordered the 16ft of light. It fit everything I wanted to trim on my dash and I cut about 6 inches off when I was finished. I was able to tuck the plug in wire in my console to hide it. I didn't see any other reviews mention the length they got so I was totally guessing and thankfully chose right. Hope that tid bit of info is helpful to someone. All in all, pretty decent buy for $8. I'm totally enjoying it.
