Ags Mr Zip Graphite Powdered Lubricant 1.13 Oz. Bottle

Let me start with I don't know a thing about locks/keys etc. Over the past week, our house keys have gotten extremely hard to insert into our front door. The lock still turned once the key was in, but getting it in could sometimes take minutes and force. Anyway, I ordered this graphite lubricant this morning, it was delivered this afternoon, I read the instructions (shake, snip, squirt) and after one good blast into the keyhole, both mine and my fiance's keys slid into the lock so easy like *redacted for family friendly review*... In all seriousness, I don't know what sort of sorcery this is, but I was maybe expecting a little improvement, but this feel like a brand new lock and key. Definitely grateful I checked reddit first and didn't use an oil-based lubricant like WD-40. Wish I would have taken a video of the lock before using the lubricant, oh well. Oh, and make sure you keep a paper towel or something to catch/wipe up the graphite dust when you're using it. I held a paper towel under the keyhole and it caught most of the dust that didn't make it into the lock, but I can see how this could get extremely messy if you're not careful. Thanks for saving me from replacing the lock. 10/10 would recommend!

I had locks that were causing me to over push my key into. With just a simple squirt of this into the lock and then inserting and taking out and then inserting and taking out the key, alternating a twist of the key in the lock inbetween inserting it, allowed the graphite powder to quickly lubricate the lock. This lock, for an outside door, had never had this treatment done to it before so it was the first time in almost 40 years plus. But now that it has been done, I have had a chance to see how well this lubricant works. Since I used it several months ago, I have not seen any degridation in the opening of the lock. And we have had snow, rain and intense sun directly at this outside lock! I am very impressed with the quality of this product and would recommend it to anyone!

I purchased this for use on my sliding glass door tracts. I wanted something that would lubricate but not attract dirt and debris and this does the job. I used this regularly in a former maintenance position and have since used it for several outdoor and household items that have moving parts. A little goes a long way, so the value for the money is great provided you use it sparingly. I was not able to find this locally anywhere and most clerks had no idea what I was talking about, so I ordered from Amazon.

5 STARS! This worked like a charm for my stiff door lock. I pumped the powder into the key hole and after 2 pumps, all my keys worked as if it was new and the lock is back to normal. I wish I would have purchased this earlier but it cured my stubborn stiff door lock of 10 years. Highly recommend this if your having trouble turning the key and having to fight with your lock to open the door. The graphite powder can get messy, just be careful opening the tip from the bottle and maybe wear gloves when applying it. After I used it, I put it back in it's original packaging and stored it away. It's a lot so one bottle will last for a long time.
