Be careful where you place this. My wife used it on the dishwasher, like she should. During the dry mode some steam escapes from the top of the door. This was placed near the top, and rusted pretty bad. Ruined the Pekingese picture, witch made it useless as a clean or dirty notice. The picture seems to be paper covered with some kind of plastic, it is not enameled. Keep it completely away from moisture, and it should last for a long time.
