Stand works best in the "landscape" orientation.

I had a new fire table and wanted something sturdy enough to protect it, but not too bulky or heavy. i also wanted something that would stand it up for hands-free reading. I haven't had this cover very long, but so far i am very pleased with it. it has met all my needs and looks good too.

This is for my husband's fire. Perfect for what he needed and a good price.

The Soke case for the Amazon Fire HD 10 & 10 Plus Tablet (Only Compatible with the 11th Generation, is a perfect fit. I was hoping for a case with a trifle more padding, however, this case is so lightweight to carry and use. At this point in time, I'm very happy with the purchase as it facilitates much easier handling of the tablet. The one problem with the Fire HD is its case is very thin and is difficult to use without the Soke case. The Soke absolutely remedies that situation. After all is said nad done, I would definitely purchase the Soke case again.

To protect my fire tablet

This is a good option to protect your Fire HD.I use it in portrait mode to read sheet music. It adds some weight/bulk but that’s better than a cracked screen if you drop it. The front flap is not magnetic but generally stays closed. If you fold it behind the rear side it does not lay flat. I just let it stay open on my music stand. If you view a video, the built in stand for landscape mode works great.

A great case for the Fire HD ten. Though, the material of the outside can be hard to clean at times, and it first arrived with a faint chemical smell, which luckily faded in a few days.
