Full Body Engine Crashbar Compatible With1987-2007 KLR650 Klr 650 Gen1 klr 650

Like them a lot. I’m on a 1999 100% Japanese KLR and want to preserve this jewel. The places I go are very far into the AZ back country, can’t afford to damage the mechanics of this machine. Could probably pick the bike up with one and shake it with no damage. They also have 2 light tabs in front for future use. Only problem is that typical KLR front end wander when it gets a little wobbly at 77mph. My fork brace probably fixes most of that though. Handmade with North American pride. Just get grade 10.9 hardware to replace what comes with it if you care for your bike but that’s why you’re considering these 🤠🤠🤠

Does it line up perfectly, no. Does it work though, yes. Easy enough to install even for one person. Just keep the hardware lose until you have it all in place then tighten eveything down. Material seems very durable so no complaints there.

It arrived quickly and installed fairly easily. You'll have to remove the factory skid plate and install with a firm hand. Where all the pieces are bolted together I had to give it some encouragement but it installed well.

The shipping was much faster than stated. I love the crash bars, these are the best that I have seen. The welds look great and the paint is quality too. I will update my review with pictures and a short video soon as I have them completely installed.

Absolutely saved my legs on multiple occasions. The tiny holes in the front made easy mounting for my flood lights. Fitted a little crooked but doesn't come loose even after crash. Plug and play.

The only way to go if you want to protect your bike. This is the second dirtracks product I’ve purchased and they have both been amazing. Super beefy easy to install took about half an hour. Absolutely in love with these crash bars.

I bought these because they seemed to be the best protection available for the Gen 1 KLR650. Everybody also mentioned great build quality. Unfortunately I am disappointed. The alignment was not great and I had to do a lot of work to get all the bolt holes to line up. A lot of pushing and pulling was needed. At the end, they are not very straight at all on the bike. I’ll still use them but my KLR650 isn’t going to win any beauty contests with these things attached.

Definitely need two people to install but looks amazing with my black KLR 650!!
