Simple to use, allows you to pick one of two bread thickness. Sturdy enough to hold up to my daily use and still looks nice if I forget to put it away. Stable plat form with an opening thick enough to store all the parts. Only kind of flaw is the bread base surface, if you don't pat attention, you will cut right into it, only way to prevent this would be a Delrin cutting surface, but do you really want that on/in your fresh bread? Just stop cutting like a beast and you'll be fine.

Decent bread slicer, although I didn’t expect the guides to be plywood. One side is very much tighter than the other - enough that it’s actually difficult to force it into the slot. Hoping that it will shave itself down with use. Trying to force it in makes me feel like I’ll eventually break it.
