Light and sweet
I bought this a little while ago with the intention of using it instead of honey to make cakes. It came wrapped in a sealed, leak-proof polythene bag. I didn't open it straight away and it has been in my store cupboard until today. As my hitherto liquid honey seemed to have solidified in its bottle and I couldn't easily extract it, I decided to open the Agave nectar to pour on my yoghurt and raspberries. It was very light and sweet and so easy to pour - just perfect for topping desserts and using in drinks. I am not sure whether it will solidify in time in its container like honey as I have only just opened it, but I think I may continue to use it for desserts and drinks in preference to honey as an alternative liquid sweetener, or for making home-made chocolate, as I like its taste better and the texture is better for pouring, although it may well also be fine for baking for those who wish to try it. I have used Agave in the past but this particular brand was light and sweet, just as it says, and not stodgey, gooey or heavy - just right for my purposes.

Good quality cupboard staple
Quite runny but then maybe all agave is? Love that it's organic and a quick squirt in a tomato based dish brings it to life. A cupboard staple for us

Perfect for Margaritas
That's the only thing I've used it in. We drink a lot of Margaritas; it's my favourite cocktail. The nasty little supermarket limes are too bitter, so this sweetens the drink up a little and tastes better than just adding sugar syrup.A tip: Use a cocktail shaker that can survive the freezer and still be opened, mix the ingredients in that without ice and leave in the freezer for half an hour. No need to dilute your drink that way. Just give a swirl, or a good shake if you like the cloudy look (I do). Don't forget to salt the rim!

Insecure Containers
When opened the package was sticky with residue from the product. On examination, both bottles tops were loose. I let it go because the spillage wasn’t too bad. However, I will think twice before ordering this product again.

Tastes fine, no sugar spike
Doesn’t spike sugar into diabetic range like honey or maple syrup
