Ceramic Burner Tip for Outdoor Gas Lights

This burner tio is an improvement over the original. I purchased 1 if the tips to see if it fit and worked. There is a noticeable and improved difference in the brightness in the lighted hard inverted mantle as well as how it hangs the mantle slightly lower. Have received my 2nd one ordered and will be changing that burner tip asap. New tips do improve the whole performance and appearance. Thanks American Mantle!

This is marketed as a BT001 and it is not.A CT1 or BT001 has 3/8" thread.This one has a much larger thread diameter that may not fit the older Bruest, Gas Glo models.

Bought this item for outdoor gas lamp. Nothing states size. When I received it was too small for the fittings on my gas lamp. Asked for a return authorization and was given a $3.00 refund for the $18.00 item.

One of our outdoor gas lights was becoming much dimmer that the other one. After doing some research it was suggested that possibly the burner was the culprit. So found these on line and replaced the old ones with these and the light is shining brighter than ever.

Still have yet to install because only 1 comes with this purchase. Most gas lanterns will require 2, so make sure before ordering as this is not a pair.

So the old tips were easy to remove and these were easy to install. But I installed one new, left the old in and replaced both mantles to take that out of the equation. After lighting the lantern I have to say I could not see a discernible difference in the amount of light put out by the old vs. new burner tips. I let it burn for about 10 minutes in case they needed to warm up enough but never really saw any difference in the light each provided. I took some pictures to include but the images did not provide enough clarity with the bright light against the dark night sky. Was hoping to get a brighter light with this but that really didn't happen.

these are hard to size and the company that sold them wasn’t the most cooperative. still haven’t found a fit or replacement so i guess i just wasted my money.
