Pex A (Compression Pex) Washer Outlet box
We returned to our home after 2 years out of the country and needed a new washer and dryer. The installer couldn't install the washer due to a leaking water valve. I ordered this outlet box that evening and the product arrived the first thing the following day. I needed/wanted Pex A (Compression) pex connection and could not find them at the normal places. These worked great. Connected and working very quickly. I still have some drywall to patch and put on the trim piece, but we can wash our clothes.

Poor fit.
Seems like they fumbled the simplest part of this. You will need to notch a half inch into the studs of your wall to make this sit flat against the finish sheet rock. It comes with a 1 inch lip riding over the studs. Just a very irritating problem that shouldn’t exist.

Have Bought Quite a Few!
I've been using these for years and they work well and look great! In addition, it keeps the PEX pipes hidden in the walls and away from sunlight damaging UV rays.

Worked fine on PEX-A tubing
Straight forward install, no complaints. It’s far cheaper then oatey and I can’t really see any difference other then the plastic is thinner. PEX-A went on fine. I’ll be buying more.

Great replacement and update
Exactly what it is, does what it says it does, very solid brass valves with well formed PEXA fittings. Adjustable tabs fit in normal stud wall.

These are a good value and if you buy the 1/2" PEX 1960 they are indeed standard 1/2" PEX A expansion pex.
