As close as it's going to get to the Thai restaurants version, it's very good!!
A very tasty tea that I learned about first in a Thai food restaurant. I ordered a Thai iced tea at my local Thai eatery. After the first sip, my face lit up and I exclaimed to my husband "this is the best drink I've ever tasted!!!" I quickly began Googling Thai iced tea recipes and discovered the actual tea is a very important part of it. They sell a few brands, this one is authentic for an Americanized version and then there's an actual Thai brand that you'll know is Thai from seeing the bag and reading the writing. The best way to enjoy it after steeping it in boiled water is to let it cool, refrigerate it, and take out a cup, add ice, add a splash of light cream, and a tablespoon of Sweetened Condensed Milk (that's the way the Thai have this deliciousness). Once mixed well, enjoy! It's caffeinated so it can replace your morning coffee if you wanted it to - in fact, I'm a coffee lover and obsessed with coffee and I've been drinking this mornings instead of coffee. Other ways to enjoy are to add milk instead of light cream but I'm sorry to say to the health nuts that the Sweetened Condensed Milk is absolutely key and necessary to get the real taste for how the Thai have it. I place my Thai iced tea and Sweetened a Condensed Milk in the fridge after purchase, making this even better and I add it to coffee)

Very authentic to American Thai tea
If you like Thai tea from an American Thai restaurant, I think you will like this product. It tastes pretty authentic to what I get at a restaurant. You just need to add your own milk. Thai tea can be costly when you eat out, so this is certainly an economical way to get some Thai tea at home.My only negative is that I do not make this a lot, and did not realize that this would come as a loose tea. I once tried this from a friend as a single tea bag. It does come with a sieve to use to seep your tea. Since I don't make this tea on a regular basis I do not know how long the tea will stay fresh since the package has been opened. If you make it a lot, or in large portions, this may be a good product financially. But if you only like Thai tea a few times a month, you may need to check out the same brand, but look for individual tea bags on the side (what I will do with my next order).Other than that, I enjoy the thai tea, and I think it has a wonderful aroma and taste.

Just like the Thai tea at my local restaurant. Finally!
Yes! Finally! I have tried multiple Thai tea leaves and powdered mixes from Amazon and none of them had that exact taste I was looking for. This tastes exactly like the Thai tea that they sell at my local Thai restaurant. I don't know if it's the tea itself, the recipe, or the preparation method (it comes with a little filter for you to use to steep and strain out the tea leaves) but it totally works. I am going to try this method and recipe with the other tea that I had purchased that was too strong and bitter Maybe it's just a matter of having the correct tools and the right ratios? In any case, this is it, spot on and easy to make. Don't waste your time with the other Thai tea and just get this one. Love it!

Coloring is messy, taste is authentic.
Tastes just like what you get in restaurants. I made it in my French press with the recommended 1/4 cup tea to 1 liter boiling water. Very easy. It did come with the strainer for steeping, but that wpuld be much more hassle than a French Press. The only drawback is the added color. You touch the dry tea, it stains your hands. It gets on the scoop you measure with. If you spill it it's a risk of staining. It looks pretty in the glass, but if there were a version without added color I would get that instead. It's enough of an issue I don't tgink I will purchase again and I decided to learn how to make from scratch without coloring. This is why I'm only giving 4 stars. Flavor is excellent. So the 4 stars are there for the taste.

Perfect Thai
This is perfect. It’s not fake powder or syrup, it’s a real flavorful brew. The only thing I don’t like, is that you kind of have to eyeball how much tea to use per pot. The instructions don’t tell you how many TBSP or anything per water. Buts it’s great. Absolutely better than going to the local place and buying a $7 cup. A whole box gets you maybe 40 cups all for under $10!

Best brand
Don’t buy any Thai tea brand except this.. truly the best flavor. I also prefer the tea bags over the loose for making larger batches. Since there is a orange “dye”, it makes it easier to keep clean and off areas I don’t want it to be.

Doesn’t taste like standard Thai tea in restaurants.
I’ve been using traditional Thai brand tea mixes like Pantai. Decided to try something different. This does not taste like the Thai tea you get in restaurants. Different flavors for sure. It’s not necessarily bad but not what I was after. Also more pricey and I did have to use quite a bit to get it strong enough.

The only Thai tea I will buy!
I love that this company offers a large bag of loose leaf tea because I like to make a large amount at one time. In fact I use my mason jar cold brew container to make my for the week. I'm not a big fan of hot coffee during the summer as I live in Florida so I live on this stuff during the summer. It gives me just enough of a caffeine boost to get me through my day, plus it tastes amazing with a splash of Coffee-Mate Sweet Cream Creamer. And then I use turbinado sugar as my sweetener. I would not advise using monk fruit or Stevia. I can make 5 to 6 liters of tea with this one bag!
