3.5 years and still going strong
So far this bulb has held up for me. I have it in the drivers side on Chevy volt. On the passenger side I have a LED. Iām on my second LED on passenger side and itās getting dim. Pros for this bulb. It lasts longer than I expected. Install was easy and fit was snug. It is brighter and has better distance throw than LED. Cons: light is typical halogen yellow. I chose a LED on passenger because it is a lot harder to change out than driver side, but I guess I messed up because the LED gave up first. LED lasted 2 years and this second one is getting dim.You can tell thereās a huge color difference between this bulb and the LED. I have a 4 sided LED to simulate this bulb in the projector housing, however the light spreads out and doesnāt project nearly as far as this 9012 bulb. When I use high beam, which is essentially a cover that lifts and allows all the bulbs light out, this bulb is bright!White light would be nicer, but this bulb does its job well. Definitely the best halogen I have ever used. I have tried all the whiter halogen bulbs, silver star, etc. they all die in 6 months or less. They are whiter than this bulb, but not brighter, and they die too quick, and are not cheap. If you are going for a nice white look, get a good LED, just know that you wonāt see that far down the road without using high beam or lifting the lens, which blinds on coming traffic. If you just want a safe light source that lasts long, buy this bulb.Update: Iām on my 3rd LED on passenger side(USA)And This bulb is still going strong! Go figure.. you can see the color difference between LED and this bulb. The LED I just changed to is alla lighting Fl-bh. It is 126% brighter according to bulbfacts.com at 5350k. However, Iām still keeping this bulb in drivers side because 1. Halogen reaches further down the road and doesnāt get washed out due to the tighter hot spot. 2. The LED definitely would blind on coming drivers more if i installed on drivers side. The look might be weird for some, but I get the benefits from both as opposed to the negatives if I had both halogen or both LED. Benefits for normal driving as well as inclement weather like rain, snow and fog.

Definite improvement over stock, worth a shot
These bulbs are a good improvement over stock halogen bulbs. While I donāt think anyone would mistake these for HID/LED I do believe this is the closest youāll get without doing a conversion. Visibility is improved, and the high beams are especially good. Easy to install in the sense that fit and finish is identical to a standard bulb and no modifications are necessary, ease of install is typically going to vary from car to car though. For my 2014 Buick LaCrosse it was very easy and straightforward, some cars may require a great deal of effort but thatās hardly the bulbs fault. For the money Iām very happy with how theyāre performing, will they last? Time will tell but 2 months in and no issues thus far.

If you drive at night, you'll love these
I bought these to put in my 2015 Chrysler 300. MUCH better downrange visibility than the stock bulbs, especially on high beam. While any old bulbs will do on brightly lit city streets, if your travels take you on highways or rural routes with little or no ambient light, these really do make a noticable difference. Now, much like with other types of bulbs, the tradeoff for increased brightness is reduced life. But these aren't really that much more expensive than stock bulbs, and in the case of my 300 at least, the bulbs are easy to change. I took my existing stock bulbs, put them in the packaging these came in, and put the package in the glove box in case one should burn out unexpectedly.

Trade off on life for looks
Good quality headlight bulbs.. just know that when you're talking about halogen lights, you can have good color, brightness, or longevity, but not all three. At least not without spending some big bucks. These bulbs give you nice color and nice brightness, about the best you'll get from halogen, and they are quite a bit cheaper than a bunch of the other whitish bulbs on the market. These are almost a must for me as my vehicle has halogen headlights right next to led running lights and the color difference between the two is jarring. These at least bring the headlights closer to matching.I'm on my second set of these now - my first bulb went out at around 19 months, and the second is still going.

Exceptional!!
Love these headlights! I was literally avoiding driving at night because I only had one headlight. I can finally see again! Only one was out, but I replaced both anyway. The brightness definitely exceeded my expectations! They were easy to install, according to my husband. As far as longevity, I don't know yet. I've only had them for about a month, will update at a later date.

A good upgrade (color and brightness) for people with 9006 bulbs who want the HID look without losing performance.
I'm going to preface this by saying that I have no point of comparison to a regular 9012 bulb. I know a regular 9011 is far brighter and whiter than any of the HID-esque 9005 bulbs I had tried before (the best of which I tried being GE Lighting 9005NHP/BP2 Nighthawk Platinum High-Beam Headlight Bulbs, 2-Pack, so perhaps that holds true for 9012s versus 9006 blue-ish tint bulbs. What I will say is that I have been running these for a while as a replacement for 9006 SilverStar Ultras when I needed to replace my OEM HID housings with 9006 ones in an emergency, and the difference isn't that far pronounced.Certainly, these are definitely brighter than the 9006s the factory had (as they should be), despite the blue tint to them; and I will eventually go back to another set of the HID housings as soon as I can find one. And, again, I don't know how much worse they may or may not perform than a regular HIR2 bulb. But, while the difference is quite pronounced when you first power on the headlights (since HIDs start blue and then "warm up"), by the time you've been driving for twenty minutes or so these are very close in color to a set of nearly new 4300k HIDs. Close enough that the problems I was having with a stopgap HID kit I was putting in the halogen projectors in the meantime wasn't worth the fight to get them working.

Fits 2016 Rav4
Whiter light but not as bright as OEM. Direct fit and easy install. Too soon to say anything about longevity. Satisfied so far.
