I wanted to like this... but.
The idea of sitting in my hot tub and reading, or watching a movie on my iPad, appeals to me. There are a lot of solutions for doing the same in a bath tub (trays that span the width) that are secure, but the same design is not practical for something as large as a hot tub. Unfortunately there just are not a lot of choices for hot tubs, so despite the reviews that said difficult to put together, expensive for what you get, I got this. The reviews are right. I would fire the person that wrote the instructions, surely you can hire a cheap writer off the internet? The instructions bore little resemblance to the task at hand and I had to basically figure out what the function was, look at the parts, and figure out how to get there myself. I could and did, but still. If I want a puzzle I buy a puzzle.Oh about those parts. Cheap. The plastic even had rough edges from where it had been cut by a saw but not sanded down. You get the feeling this is done in a garage. They also do not inspire confidence about long term use. The only thing that seemed well engineered was the inflatable part, presumably because that had to be farmed out to a real manufacturer and not done in someone's garage. But once together, how does it work? Okay, only okay. the tray section press fits into the inflatable section and easily comes out as the inflatable section invariably loses air over time. So you have to watch for that when picking it up. It doesn't really support a book or iPad all that well unless you want to use velcro tape to secure things. Really? It does float well however. And as long as you are really careful all is well. But be careful if someone turns on the jets or causes any disturbance so that you move quickly. My iPad has hit the water twice now in five uses. Good thing I put a waterproof cover on my iPad.It was shipped out promptly.I would be happier if it was half the price. Maybe then I would accept the poor instructions, poor build, and lack of secure support. But these days when one pays a premium price one expects a premium product. This just isn't.What it is, is about the only game in town. So yep. I still use it. With extreme caution and care.

too expensive for what it is
This works ok as a floating stand. I use it for my phone and my Kindle, and it works OK BUT, I have to keep one hand on it in my hot tub or it floats around given the constant low flow/filtering process in my tub - this is without any jets on. It kind of defeats the purpose, I guess because if I wanted to hold onto my kindle I would just hold it. Nonetheless, it does stay upright and it keeps my electronics out of the water. It is very cheap material. I wouldn't buy again, but I didn't return either.

Works well!
My husband bought this for me because I like reading in the hot tub. It works well. I like the band that holds the book in and the base is big enough for a washcloth if I want to dry my fingers before turning the page.Remember to take the packing plastic off the band though. I was a dork and thought that they had sent me a colored band instead of a see thru one. But I contacted their customer service and they were timely and kind in their response. Which told me I needed to remove the packing plastic. Silly me!

This solved my problem, Time will tell if it lasts
I have a problem and that my bathtub is so small that I cannot use those caddies. This may be more preferable as well to a caddy trey thing. It holds the largest book I have which I was worried about it sinking. This has really made my life better no longer having to hold the book. You still have to barely hold it in place which is fine.I just hope it keeps its air and that I don’t have to blow it up all the time so far it’s gone a whole week without having to blow it up.

Genius product! Excellent customer care!
This product is GENIUS! Whether in the bathtub or the hot tub, this product gets rave reviews! I like to sit in the hot tub and read on my iPad. I place the iPad in a gallon ziplock bag and then put it on the float caddie. It floats and allows me to have both hands free. This product is the single best compliment to my hot tub hands down! The product is very durable and well made. It is comfortable to use and easy to assemble. I actually do not use the little bar that comes with it, but just secure the iPad with the two plastic side bar/sleeves. Works perfectly. I did have a small leak on the first one I purchased after several months of use. I reached out to the company, and they IMMEDIATELY responded. They have a 1-year warranty for manufacturer defect, and they sent me a replacement float the next day. I actually have purchased another one to have as a back up as well. If you like to read or use an iPad in the tub, whichever tub it is, I highly recommend this product.

Great Investment In My Education - Perfect For Reading In Hot Tub Or Pool
I bought this specifically for reading my Kindle Paperwhite in the hot tub. When I first ordered it, I was annoyed by how expensive it was, but after I assembled it, I really saw how much attention to detail and thought went into this. Also, this is not some mass marketed thing from China, so the cost is understandable given that the is a really niche item. Honestly, I have to say this is perfectly designed. It does exactly what it says, and does it very well. I look at it as an investment in my own education. If I'm able to get through more books by reading in the hot tub (which I use often, especially in the winter), then it's worth every penny.

Delivered chipped and scratched
Product is still usable but should not have been shipped like this. It looks second hand, like it's already been used a couple of years

Very cheap, don't buy it!
The object was simply placed in a bag without any protection. The plastic reading guide arrived broken ... especially since it was not cheap. Very poor quality, don't buy it!After mentioning that the reading guide was broken, I received a second one, but the cushion is punctured...seriously, it's a really cheap object that is not worth $100 at all. It's a real joke!

Good product but very slow delivery and it arrived damaged
The product is well designed and very useful. I was disappointed that it arrived much later than promised (after the holidays) and then it finally arrived, it was dented and scratched. Given the length of time it took to arrive, I chose to accept a discount rather than have a new one sent.
