Is width 19mm for device?

Hello - no it is not 19mm aka 3/4 of an inch, the width is just over a 1/2 an inch.

Are these bands long enough for a man?

Yes. They are perfect! I got the large and they were plenty big...and much more comfortable than the shorter ones I owned.

Is the alta and alta hr the same band?

If you have an Alta HR be sure the band advertises as HR. I believe it can be used with HR, also. These definitely work with Alta HR, my Fitbit.
