Very good laser printer, works wirelessly from iPhones, iPads, MacBook Pros. I've had no setup problems at all, it worked with minimal setup aggro. Once on-line, iPhone app advises you of any firmware updates, which you can apply very easily.Used for documents for home office and school homework. Starts printing within seconds of sending the print job. Don't expect great photo prints though, it's a laser printer.The only negative is that you shouldn't expect to receive the cashback very quickly. I bought this printer in September 18, in December I phoned to chase. In Feb 19 still no cashback. I chased again and received the cashback in Apr 19. Hassle.

I bought this printer because of the 5 star reviews, it got from everywhere, It didn’t disappoint, I registered it online as soon as I got it, it was advertised with £100 cashback, and 3yr warranty, within 5 days the money was in my bank, and the three year warranty added onto my account. Added bonus the toner cartridges are cheap to refill, I managed to source some reset wheels. A bit fiddly connecting to my internet. Only used it a few times, but for now it seems good.

I've had this for a couple of weeks now and it's working just as expected. OK, so i'm not a heavy print user and have done some basic testing and printed some of my regular documents all without issue. I have setup Google Cloud print and can now print from my Android phone almost anywhere - especially useful for printing tickets etc without having to use the computer connected to the printer.It is quite a big unit in terms of height (i think to accommodate the colour toner cartridges) and a slightly larger footprint compared to the B&W laser printer it has replaced. Speed of printing is good and not too noisy either. Print quality is good and the colours are also good. I'm not expecting to print photos, just documents and flyers etc with a bit of colour.The printer setup was surprisingly easy - connected to PC with USB cable then ran the supplied CD to install drivers and configure with my home wifi. I was expecting to have to search and enter an IP address but none of that.A big bonus was the Brother promotion where I received £50 cashback and a free label printer.

Für den Preis ist die Druckleistung sehr zufriedenstellend. Das einzige was er nicht gut kann ist Fotos drucken (bei Farbverläufen sieht man Abstufungen), aber Laserdrucker (zumindest in diesem Preissegment) sind generell nicht für Fotodruck geeignet. Dafür funktioniert die Einrichtung als Netzwerkdrucker sehr gut. Einfach mit LAN Kabel an den Router stecken und anhand der MAC Adresse dem Drucker eine statische IP Adresse zuweisen. Windows 10 Rechner erkennen dann den Drucker von selbst und der Treiber lässt sich mit einem Klick installieren. Bei älteren Windows Systemen einfach bei der Treiberinstallation die IP die man dem Router vergeben hat angeben und schon läuft das Drucken auf allen Geräten im Haus (So kann man auch das umständlichere Drucken über USB Stick am Drucker umgehen).Und noch ein Tipp für alle die mit dem Toner sparen wollen:Das Gerät bestimmt den Tonerverbrauch nur anhand der Zahl der gedruckten Seiten, sprich wenn ein Toner laut Drucker leer ist, kann es sogar vorkommen, dass erst ein Drittel des Toners tatsächlich verbraucht wurde. Deshalb kaufe ich nur die kleinsten Kartuschen und wenn der Drucker meint sie wären leer, setze ich den Zähler zurück (Video Anleitung findet man auf YouTube). Das mache ich dann so oft bis die Ausdrucke farblich bleich wirken, dann erst tausche ich den Toner. Dieses Verfahren wird vom Hersteller natürlich nicht empfoheln und ein wenig Vorsicht ist geboten, denn wenn man den Toner über einen zu langen Zeitraum nicht verbraucht beginnt er zu verklumpen und dann bekommt man verschmierte Ausdrucke.edit 05.04.2019ich gebe dem drucker weiterhin 5 Sterne wegen dem niedrigen preis, allerdings würde ich beim nächsten mal wieder einen brother in der Preisklasse von 450 EUR kaufen, da bei diesem drucker es teilweise ewig dauert PDFs mit 40 seiten auszudrucken (wahrscheinlich zu wenig Arbeitsspeicher), außerdem müssen hier die toner Kartuschen mechanisch zurückgesetzt werden (sprich aufschrauben und Zahnrad verstellen), während das bei der höheren Preisklasse über ein geheimes menü gemacht werden kann.

OK, so my old Dell colour laser gave up the ghost, and with home school printing required, I had to pick something quickly. This seemed a good one to go for.I should have really checked the size of it. From the picture (and in my rush), I thought it was a personal colour laser that fits on a desktop. No, it's an office printer, and wouldn't look out of place handling the printing for a busy hospital ward.Anyhoo, I found space for it, and am very pleased with the results! It's unobtrusive, despite its size, and produces great output. The 1200dpi print mode really improves on the standard printer resolution. And full duplex printing out of the box! (that really should have tipped me off). Very easy to set up using the Brother software too.It seems incredibly well built too (hence the weight). Just make sure you have a table/filing cabinet to put it on.
