Dear Santa: A Lift-the-Flap Book

Wonderful book! I bought this book for my son ( 15 mo ) who loves “Dear Zoo” and it was an instant hit. The clean pages with brightly colored flap illustrations draw interest and the simple repetitive words encourage engagement and comfort.

I teach three and four-year-olds with disabilities. These books are perfect for my students. The pictures are simple, but still interesting for the students. The story is in interactive keeping the students engaged.

Such a fun find! Dear Zoo was one of my favorite books as a kid and I had no idea they made a Dear Santa! Super cute book and my 4 month old loves it!

She loves books and will get them on her own. This type she can’t rip. Just enjoy

We have the Dear Zoo book and thought this one would be perfect to add to our Christmas collection.About the book:A little kid writes to Santa for something special. Santa comes up with different gifts but then decides maybe something better. The book is not a rhyming book but it is a good book to introduce kids to names of things (nouns) and describing words (adjectives).What I love:The flaps to open. That the last page has a touch and feel thing. That it is a board book which is good for little hands.Recommend for:Ages 0+ (The flaps are thin though so best not to leave unsupervised with little ones as they could easily tear off.)Beginning Reading levelGifting

The book is a lovely addition to our bookshelf, and my 1 year old daughter loves lifting the flaps and reading with me! A nice sturdy book that can handle even the toughest of toddlers!

My daughter loves Dear Zoo, so this was a must. The storyline is similar and very cute but not quite as good. A child writes to Santa to send something special so Santa keeps wrapping up presents that he changes his mind about. You lift seven flaps of wrapped presents to see the gift underneath. There are things like a ball that is too bouncy, a trumpet that is too loud, and a kite that is too big. The gift Santa ends up bringing at the end is a cat with a touch and feel fur aspect. My toddler loves it and I would definitely recommend it!

I would recommend it. Very bright and wording is kids friendly and flap part is a nice bonus.

Mis hijos son fans del libro "Dear Zoo". De hecho tuvimos que hacernos con la edición que emite sonidos también. Cuando vi este libro del mismo autor no lo dudé. Les encanta levantar las ventanitas y ver que hay detrás, y a mi hija de 13 meses, le encanta el último regalo.

We love this story and it was well read in our house over Christmas with our toddler.

Excellent for family children mom and dad take turns reading
