Chains busted after 10 minutes: replace with nylon cord.....otherwise great basket
Quality of the chains is very poor. Got it all hung up and put in a 5 pound bag of onions, a few potatoes and sweet potatoes...not really full at all....within 10 minutes the black chain gave way and everything into the floor. Replaced all chains with sturdy nylon cord. Ran the cord thru the basket frame, not just the welded on eyelets the chain had been hooked to because the welds on the eyelets looks really lame and figured that would bust next. Nice sturdy basket, fits well against a wall and holds enough to be useful. Could have used a nicer black cord for appearance, but hangs in mechanical room so functionality is all I needed. Pleased with baskets; not pleased with chains.

Perfect for what I needed
Baskets are exactly what I needed. They are square and deeper than all the other round ones I found. I have round ones I use for fruit but was looking for ones deeper for bags of snacks-nuts, dried fruit, pretzels-that would not work with the shallow ones I use for potatoes, bananas, apples, etc.

This heavy duty hanging basket is perfect for holding onions and potatoes in my kitchen. I tried a round one with only 3 chains, but it broke almost immediately. This hanging basket has been up and loaded with approximately 15# without any problems. I would buy it again.

All Hung Up
Love it. I like having most of my fruits and veggies in sight instead of having to go through refrig drawers to see what's on hand. Plenty of room. Looks attractive and hangs nicely.
