I just installed this starter in my 2004 Chevy Suburban about a month ago, and so far, it has worked flawlessly. It was a perfect replacement for the original starter that was in my vehicle. I believe it has a little more starting power than the original starter it replaced. I can't vouch for the longevity since it hasn't been installed for very long, but I would not hesitate to use this brand of starter on any other vehicle. Priced at a much more reasonable price and completely brand new. So far, very pleased with the purchase.

So far so good. Looks just like original on 2004 Chevy Silverado. Spins the motor over quicker than I ever remember original starter doing.

Like I said, 5 months in and still working. Keep in mind I don't use this truck often. This is by no means an OEM equivalent or even close, and I must admit I only went this route because I'm a flat broke musician and the covid 19 has wiped out my events calendar. I didn't have a good enough jack to raise this truck very high and what height I did gain, I didn't trust the stand and left the wheel on and pretty much did everything from the side so-as not to get my brains crushed if the jack failed. I eventually did get it on though and did I say it was a bitch? I had to reach so far and hold the starter for such a long time my shoulder and elbow suffered from some sorta tendon related issue that lingered for several weeks. Fortunately my gigs were all canceled and I didn't have to perform like that. One thing I hate to say and this is HUGE the starter will not sound anything like what you are used to, in-face this starter sounds like something that will fly apart and leave me stranded at the first most inconvenient moment. I feel this is worth taking a star off because like I said I don't use this truck much right now, but when I do again, I'm going to be listening very close because it has a swish swish swish sound instead of a arrre arre arre sound if that makes any sense

Starter was delivered on time, I was a lil disapointed because it did not come in a factory box, but rather in just a plain white box in not great looking condition, altho when i opened the tattered box, was a nice shinny new looking well built starter, installed 2/20/20, will update if any issues, the temp here is below 0, new starter has been working all day in the cold, great price for a decent starter.

Bought this after verifying on Amazon that it was a replacement starter for my 2004 Suburban that came with an ACDelco Starter, # 323-1644. Took the old starter out, put the new one in, but bolt holes didn't come close to lining up. It doesn't fit in 2 ways. See pictures. First picture - Old and new starters side by side. Second picture - Old with grease line where it mates with housing. Third picture - Old with hex wrench showing clearance between bolts and solenoid. Fourth picture - New starter with hex wrench showing interference between bolts and solenoid. There is no way that bolts will mate with housing as they do not line up with housing holes!!! Fifth picture - Old with 1/16" clearance for 1/2" thick Flywheel with teeth. Sixth picture - New with 0" clearance for 1/2" thick Flywheel with teeth. Wish I was a swearing guy because I want to let loose on this seller for wasted my time and effort with a part that won't fit. Buyer beware!

Alot cheaper than even jobber price at our local parts house....and didn't have a core charge. Bolted it up, It has been about 0 to 5 degrees the past week every morning at start up time, and it sounds like it spins the engine at the same speed as when its 70 degrees. I am impressed. We will see if it stands up over time but for right now I gotta say it was a great buy.

Very good product

Been about a month and it is still going strong. This was definitely not the same quality as the one from the auto parts store, but it was more than 60% less money. I would definitely buy it again. I would like to say that many reviews note that it includes only one installation bolt, and not the two required. This is true, but the reason is because only one of the holes on the starter is smaller than the old installation bolts. So only one new one is needed for a perfect fit. Definitely no need to drill out the starter hole to allow the old bolt.

Fit great and so far works great on my 03 Chevy Silverado with 4.8l engine

Perfect fit , turned over motor in my 2007 , 6-cylinder cargo van motor as good if not better than OEM starter, very fast delivery to me also, would definitely buy from this place again

Great item and great price, Bolted on my 2003 Chevy Silverado 4.8L without issues. Have been using it for a few months and this starter turns my engine over much harder than the factory.
