Strongly Recommend!
Super, bright and quality made tool. Great price and prompt service. The manufacturer needs to provide a belt case that fits this series.

especially at close range and easy to use
Excellently made flashlight that is rugged, light weight, really bright beam, especially at close range and easy to use. Really like the M model recessed switch. I believe one could easily use the device as a close quarter striking weapon, if needed.

... of functionality and utility to it and has some awesome ratings for output and battery life
I'm very impressed the light overall as it's got a ton of functionality and utility to it and has some awesome ratings for output and battery life. Extremebream has a "tactical" type of marketing going on which I think is a little off for these multi-function lights (hi-med-lo-strobe modes) but the high mode blasts plenty of light that you can focus into a narrow beam by twisting the head cap. I would recommend the light for camping or when you need light for long periods of time or for emergencies to go into a but out bag or something. For the money, the light is really well constructed and packs a punch, but lacks refinement of lights that cost 2 to 4 times as much from the Surefire line. That's what I think of the M600 in a nutshell but a few more views and opinions on a video I made: http://youtu.be/EKbQeRFhO7o
