Halloween Resurrection [DVD] [2021]

Finally I got my favourite film on dvdExcellent condition, priced perfectly and will buy more

Delivered very quickly and good price. As far as the movie goes I watched it when I was younger so I have the nostalgia for it but I can't see why many regard this as the worst one of all 🤣. Reality big brother style setting made it fun.

The last Carry On film. Carry On Michael was a surprising addition to the famous comedies, I, like most people thought Carry On Columbus was the end of these films, as it flopped like a bit of old cod, but obviously we were overly optimistic, there was life in them still, or at least the producers thought so. This however, proves, beyond any doubt that the Carry On films might be revived, but the script writers for the Halloween franchise have been nailed to the perch. Michael Myers still has charisma, and screen presence, he still subtly steals every scene. The supporting cast for Carry On Michael are sadly lacking in everything except comedic timing.

He's unstoppable, unfathomable and definitely unsociable. But for film you have to be able to forgive the unbelievable. And in this film it gets really difficult. Halloween, the original film, was terrifying. The fact that this guy could move around very slowly, unchallenged, in a boiler suit and creepy mask was overcome by the genuine chills and special camera and musical tricks. And the brilliance of Jamie Lee Curtis.Then came the sequels, which went from reasonable to bizarre in leaps and bounds. Halloween H20 finally put the whole story to rest in a way that was contrived, but at least brought Laurie Strode and Jamie Lee to a fitting end with brother Michael.Now comes along Resurrection, which is not at all a bad film in terms of horror, but completely short changes all the fans of the original by including a beginning sequence that 'completes' Laurie's story by making her out to fail to recognise her killer brother, despite having fought him for the majority of H20, and also failing to kill him (again) in the first fifteen mintues of the new film. Her fight and success was the reason we loved the premise. Jamie Lee may have been pleased to see her role ended, but it felt like a huge cop out to me.According to this film, Michael Myers won his battle after many years, which was to dispatch sister Laurie. But then he decided to go on to butcher a few more would-be starlets, because they came into the house. So what? When was he particularly interested in the house? And if he was so protective, when did people get in there to plant the dummy stuff?It's not a bad film. It's just a travesty for those of us that had sweaty palms in the cinema watching the original Halloween.

Good quality, well packaged and a great film to boot.

This dvd is fine. The disc is working great.

Alles gut

Turned out I’m in the wrong region and can’t play them but still a great addition to my Halloween collection

Cet aventure est superbe surtout en mode télé-réalité, mais la suite de la Saga reste inoubliable, autant dire que j'adore toute la saga d'Halloween. Mais on connait la fin, perso je pense qu'il pourrait revenir, mais ils ont bouclés pour faire pause.

si me ha gustado mucho para ser una peli de miedo recomendaría comprarla aunque el audio para ser hd master audio 5.1 castellano no es muy bueno no se si es que no han subido el sonido al grabarla en blu ray
