I purchased these for an custom outdoor tv cabinet. They work great but be warned, they are super strong! Because mine was outdoors the doors on my cabinet have seals on them. These worked perfect because they pull the doors in past the resistance of the pressure from the seals and virtually lock it in place. If it weren’t for the rubber seals it would probably be too difficult to open. I had purchased one of these a few years ago and just purchased another for similar application. The first one held up well!

Jiayi 4 Pack Magnetic Door Catch 66lbs. Easy to install with double sided tape provided. I had to place paper between magnet and metal plate to help release before adding mounting screws.

The magnets are nicely made and are a good value. The mounting adhesive seemed to be a great idea for aligning the plate on the door but it really doesn't work and didn't hold to the door. I just marked them like I would any other magnet door holder but I'm really disappointed that the adhesive feature failed. It was the main reason for choosing this set over others.

I wanted to replace all the funky plastic door catches in my RV Toy Hauler,I chose these Jiayi 66 lb. Cabinet Magnets,Glad I did there absolutely fantastic,Quality is top notch,I installed 23 magnets,not a single problem with the screws and they give you more than enough,installation was not bad,just a lot of screwing and I did use my drill driver,no problem,the provided two way tape simplified the job,some reviews say the magnets have no holding power,very weak,let me tell you,my wife came out to check on my progress and went to open one of the finished doors,she had to pull on it twice to open it,these doors will not open during travel,I believe the bad reviews are people not installing them properly,they must be aligned perfectly to get the max holding power,glad I went with these 66 lb magnets,two thumbs up.

I installed two of these magnets on the top of my cocktail arcade cabinet. I installed these on the inside of my glass top cabinet and it keeps it secure and tightly closed without issue. The screws provided work well, and honestly this is the best price on these magnets I've found.

I wanted to add some catches to my cabinets and picked up a set of these, the "30 pound" variety. First, what they call "30 pound" I call "5 pound", that's about the amount of effort it takes to open a cabinet door with one of these latches installed. I can easily open a door with my little finger without strain. I ended up using two units on several of the doors to get them to stay shut even after a lot of fiddling to get the best alignment I could. Installation proved a bit tougher than I expected as the flat strips that attach to the doors are barely wider than the magnets, while the screws provided are too large for the countersinks in the metal plate so they stick up when installed. This means that if the metal plates aren't exactly lined up, say off by 1/8", the screw head interferes with the magnet hitting the metal plate. I ended up having to just use one screw and the adhesive tape on several to get them to work. The screws are also pretty soft, I had to give up on using a power driver and install them by hand to keep them from stripping out. Alignment is critical, I spent a lot longer than anticipated moving the magnets in and out to get them to stick to the door plates. Ultimately I got them installed and working after a fashion. If I were to do it again I'd go for a more powerful magnet and look closely at how they install.

We have gone through a few trying to find ones strong enough for our basement door and these have finally hit the mark! We have only one on the door that would never stay closed, and it has been sufficient at keeping it closed. I’m so stoked we finally have one strong enough for our door!

Very sturdy and well made. Easy to install. Works great. These are my second set of latches. The first that I installed on our RV cabinets that were coming open while we were driving. They worked so well I bought this new set for our home.
