I replaced the three cords I had on my pedal board to better accommodate my four pedals since the board is pretty small and cramped. Two of the three old cords were big and bulky, but I planned to swap out all three just so they were all the same. I turned on my amp after plugging everything in and got a VERY loud buzz from the amp. It scared the crap out of me. I checked everything to make sure it was plugged in all the way. No problems there. I then swapped out each of the three cords with the one small cord I already owned. No luck swapping out the first two, but swapping out the third one resolved the buzzing, so clearly that cord is defective. The other two seem to work just fine and I like the small size. Unfortunately I paid for three but only got two useable ones. I don’t feel like going through the hassle of returning all of them to gamble on the replacement ones all working

I'm going to emphasize how ridiculously priced these are because it's kind of nuts if we're being reasonable. That said, they are high quality and what that means is they are durable and avoid picking up external noises. I have 9 of these total for my pedal board and I'm just glad I never have to buy these again.The 4" cable is actually a little less than 5". This isn't a deal killer and probably not uncommon in the cable business but still caught my eye. Sometimes 4" is what you want, not 5"

I was blaming my power supply(s) for a persistent hum in my rig but it was my DIY patch cords the whole time. Especially with my Boss overdrive and distortion pedals. These fixed it right up (90% reduction)… and they’re neater. I prefer the S-style. 3” ones for side-by-side connections and 6” or 12” for top-to-side connections. C-style work well too but the S-style just seem more versatile.

I've recently purchased sets of these Rock Stock Guitar Flat Patch Cables - 4 Inch C-Shape Effect Pedal Cables, and these are fabulous! The low-profile connector really cleans up the connections and helps make for a clean pedalboard. Add to that, the high-quality construction, and they're a 5-star winner!!!!!Definitely going to be buying more of these, and highly recommended!
