UNRAVEL THE DUSK

It's packaging was very good I came in a paper bag , it's cover is hard and beautiful 😍 and the pages are of good quality and the print is very good and original , I would totally recommend it but I haven't read it yet but surely tell about it after reading ❤️

The story started right where it ended in Spin the Dawn. It was heart wrenching in the beginning, where Maia is feeling lost and there is no-one to listen to her. She eventually found her way out and made sure that she is united with her love. I admired the way everyone was so invested in protecting their kingdom. There were more than two war theme mentioned in the book and each were unique and thorough that, they gave me the feeling of watching a movie. The entire story was so magical and felt right out of Studio Ghibli production.I was in awe with the writing style of Elizabeth Lim. The descriptions are so smooth, it fells as if the story just flows. Easy to imagine with a lot of vivid details. The story is set in an Asian Backdrop. and, ironically has some strong female leads ( best thing about the book is how it negates the patriarchy that actually prevails in Asian culture, we need to read more books like this one). The rich cultural heritage overflowed in every chapter. I feel like I have read so many novels where the lead usually struggles with their family or they do not get along for some reason. This novel was the complete opposite of that. The family bond was the main plot of the story. Both the duology started with a note in the beginning where Maia describes her family bond, how they were such closely knit people and how strong they were together. The story develops more when I proceeded further and there were some sweet romantic gestures shared between the Main leads. I absolutely enjoyed the forbidden romance trope in the story. The entire story was so magical. While the first book was adventurous and this one was sappy from beginning till the end, just like in any Anime movie!

And how does the mother goddess Amana come to her aide?However slow and dragging the first half of the book might seem, the climax is everything this duology deserves, and we do get a happy ending after all(or do we?).'Unravel the Dusk' might not be as good as 'Spin the Dawn', but they do make an unbeatable duo.

✨ UNRAVEL THE DUSK✨.Hello everyone,I hope you all are safe and healthy ✨.QOTD: The sequel you were/are most excited for?.SWIPE TO SEE THE MOODBOARD I HAVE MADE 😬.✨Okay so i finished reading the sequel that i was most excited for ,the sequel to SPIN THE DAWN i.e.UNRAVEL THE DUSK and oh my God it just took my breath away 😰in the first two parts. However ,I am glad that my breath was restored at the end 😂. With this I finished reading THE BLOOD OF STARS DUOLOGY and i take pride in that😂😬..✨ Unravel the Dusk was totally unpredictable and it just turned out to be just the opposite of what I thought after reading SPIN THE DAWN. The plots i predicted betrayed me and I completely fell a victim to the new twists . Ofcourse, if the plot was predictable it would stand out to be a boring one.I thoroughly loved reading this as I had loved it's prequel .But ,I must say the sequel is much darker 😬.✨From the very first chapter my eyes searched for EDAN ofcourse 😏. Yes,he was back to my utter happiness😌. Now , I won't give spoilers by revealing who dies 👀, people would kill me otherwise and my life is very dear to me 🤣..✨I wonder why aren't fictional characters real?The world would have been a better place to live in with people like Edan and Maia around 😌✨

I felt it was repetitive and didn't do justice to the plot that was set in the first book

I am 100 pages into it and I am unable to put it down😍😍😍😍We are getting a full view of the repercussions of the events of book one.And I have really nothing to say about the cover. It's the most beautiful book on my shelf.

This sequel is most fulfilling. Tho Edan had more power in book 1 , this book is fully dedicated to Maia. Her will ,love , strength. I am enchanted by the idea of how the dresses were used and the author made sure guest appearances for certain characters. I enjoyed how the author has portrayed story of ten thousand cranes 😍😍 . Can I get honeycomb cakes please 🥺🥺🥺Only thing I didn't enjoy was Lady Sarnai's story

A perfect completion of Maia’s story. This was an excellent duology that will catch your attention and keep you reading. Very well crafted story with a beautiful ending.

A duologia é super bem escrita e nos traz o conforto de uma história maravilhosa, repleta de cultura.

Friends. This duology. The Blood Of Stars duology has completely taken over every single one of my thoughts. ✨ This story is unlike any other, it's sublime and unique and an unique spin in the original Mulan tale.I loved our main character, Maia Tamarin. She's fearless, strong and so, so powerful. I do not mean only material power, I mean the power that emanates from her heart; I loved the mention of Gods like I've never heard before, the Goddess Amana, although her presence was slime, she was there the whole story through mentions and through legends and through the amazing dresses; I loved the romance between Maia and Edan, definitely one of my favorite couples in YA fantasy and I loved the settings and fashion take.
