That's the main parameter -audio transparency - which described this adapter dongle, to my ears with high-end headphones, DAC and headamp. It seems well made. Perhaps a tad pricy but not terribly. All in all, I'd recommend.

Like it works well ! Use primarily wither hd800s on topping amp very happy sound balanced and gives tremendous soundstage through amp and equalizer

If you own expensive headphones........ and you cable is 4.4mm, and you dont want to spend $400-$1500 to upgrade to XLR....Then buy this 4.4mm <> XLR adapter instead.Its wire silver core, the connectors are gold, and its completely transparent.. It'll save you a lot of money and give you the exact same performance from your 4.4mm, as an expensive XLR cable upgrade.FullBright1 = Approved
