Before you buy.
Came in perfect condition. Before buying you should learn how to fit a bridge specifically to your violin. Even when the bridge does come pre-fitted. So pair this up with Sandpaper.

This Viotti bridge is better than I expected, except its height was a little too low for my violin.
This Viotti bridge is as good as my "Teller *** " bridge and ''Superieur Despiau'' bridge and my ''Aubert'' bridge. However, this Viotti bridge is not as good as my more $ expensive Aubert VB-10 bridge or Despiau v10 bridge. I lowered my rating to 4 stars because this bridge is 1 or 3 mm too low, so I was NOT able to use it because when I played very loudly, the vibrating 'G' string and 'D' string would touch the fingerboard and that results in a tapping sound.

FINALLY
I was able to put it on my cremona student violin after the original bridge snapped when tightening strings. Went through 2 other bridges only for them to be too high or not shaven or cut for playing. This one is perfect for my cremona student violin considering the height and its been shaven. Very thankful for the seller

With some adjustment, works well
I think a little adjustment is needed for some instruments to make it fit well and sound great, but otherwise this bridge is inexpensive and reasonably well made.

Nice upgrade for a cheap instrument
I have a very cheap violin. This bridge replaced the factory one, and evened out the tone a fair amount. It's more balanced from G to E, which makes the violin more enjoyable. Well worth the price.
