Flange Inserts for Freemie Flanges

Got super frustrated with a lack of output with all the different flanges I tried from various pumps with my first and only found out after I quit breastfeeding that I needed smaller flanges. Bought these when trying for my second after using Medela sizing to estimate what size I needed. I've been using these for the past two months and what a difference! I usually get anywhere from 4-6 ounces with these after ten minutes of pumping. Totally worth it, and really not that difficult to remove for washing if you use a towel to grip and twist out like instructed. I also use Maymom hard flanges and duckbills and it's all super effective at emptying the breast and getting milk in my bottles. I rest easy knowing I've been able to supplement exclusively with pumped milk for my baby!

Love love love these for my Willow 3.0! I use these with the 24mm milk containers. I purchased the inserts after using Willow’s coin size demo that suggested I order a 24mm. I experienced pain every time I pumped. With these silicon inserts, it’s not painful at all which is helping my supply! Can’t beat this for option for the price! The only negative seems to be that I waste some milk because it gets under the insert. In my opinion, it’s a small sacrifice for the comfort!

I got these to use in my Freemie Cups. I wish I had known about these before I went and purchased 21mm flange set to replace my too large Spectra flanges. These are a cheaper fix but great quality. Silicon is comfortable. I think the cut out at the ends for the milk to flow out of could be a little larger but I'm not sure if that really makes any difference in production. They are hard to get in the flange initially but it gets easy after a few times. Getting them out is a bit difficult but only because they fit so snug. I am so glad I found these!

These serve their purpose and the silicone makes the sucking a little tighter. Loosing a star because they are very hard to stuff into the flange and they are opaque not clear so you can’t see if your nipple is centered from the top.

I had my son 10.14.2020 and 3 hrs later he was transferred 100 miles away to the childrens hospital. He was full term but has many many health problems. I tried to start pumping right away and was doing ok at it. But my nipples would stretch and id get barely any milk out. I later found out i have whats called elastic nipples. I bought these and they have definitely helped with output. The traumatic birth and the fact that my son is still in the nicu has hindered my supply. But with these and the spectra s1 i am slowly pumping more each day. These fit perfectly in the spectra 24mm flange. Theres barely any milk that gets underneath them and they stay in throughout the pump session. I also put these in my medela handpump and they fit in that as well.

I have been nearly exclusively pumping for the last 8 weeks. My daughter was premature and has not been breastfeeding well. I developed fissures around one nipple, making pumping extremely painful. I tried different flange sizes, going up, up, up, trying to reduce friction. I bought a different pump, hoping the different flanges would be better suited for me. Alas. I began crying every time I had to pump. In tears one night, at 12am, I found these. They came the next day, and made a world of difference! I am not using them with the freemie, but with my philips avent pump, and the pain was immediately gone. It is hard to tell if I am experiencing reduced suction with these, since the painful sensation has eased. But while I had a lower output the first two times I used them, it has picked back up and maybe even increased the last few times. It’s possible my supply is increasing as I can relax while pumping!

I bought these to put into my Medela flanges. Not to resize them, but to add friction to help with my elastic nipples. I had been using BeauGen cushions, but I was still struggling with taking forever to empty with those. So I got this idea to use these in my pump flanges. On the very first use, they made a HUGE difference in output. They helped to hold back from my nipple from stretching. I emptied in record time and got almost twice as much as I usually do. I was thrilled. Until I saw that I had an injury from this insert. There is an edge that cut into my nipple. I ended up with a sore and then it scanned over. I switched back to my normal set up. Two days later, I tried using these with Beaugen cushions and it was significantly more comfortable and I still saw good output results. I decided to see if Freemie offered a different insert design. Sure enough, they do have ones with the same sharp edges at the funnel, but their even sizes do NOT have that edges. It’s a gradual slope and it feels softer. I’m now using the sz 20 Freemie Fitmies. I can use them without the hassle of the BeauGens.

I’ve purchased these for two different pumping journeys now and will continue to recommend them to anyone that needs them. They slide easy into the flange, fit snuggly, and increased my pumping output. They pop out easy for cleaning. 10/10 worth it if you need a smaller size and don’t want to invest in a whole new set of flanges.

Good quality. I purchased these to use with my Momcozy S9 pro - unfortunately they are too long, had to purchase another set in the regular/short version.

Using these on the Eufy S1 Pro as a substitute for the flanges that come with the pump. I was initially concerned that the flange would be too long as it touches the diaphragm but it’s not an issue. These are much more comfortable than the flange inserts that come with the pump and overall helped improve my output especially on the side with lower supply.

Such better quality than the one that came with my pumps (EufyS1). They are a tad bit long but it really doesn't make much of a difference when pumping. They feel more comfortable and I find I don't need to adjust myself constantly as I did before. They fit well in my Eufy S1 pumps and into my manual pump. Fantastic all around.
