I got these sleeves because my husband 'lost' the Roku remote in our bedroom. He looked high and low, got on the floor with a flashlight, looked in really weird places, moved furniture, and could not find the remote. Since we have a Roku stick in there, he had to download the Roku app on his phone to turn on a show at night before bed. He gets up way earlier than I do, so goes to bed earlier than I do usually, so he picks the show and volume. When I go in, I turn it down and turn on Sleep Jar, but I like the light from the tv as a nightlight. It was frustrating to find the buttons on the TV in the dark to turn down the blaring volume, so I ordered a new remote for the Roku, and these sleeves, so that we wouldn't lose the remote again. Of course, the day that the remote and sleeves came in, he found the original remote under the bed, where he'd looked ten times before.I'd looked there too and didn't see it, but I didn't admit that. Marriage is a series of gives and takes, after all.Anyway, I was excited to put on these sleeves. I understand the premise. They need to be exposed to light to hold some of that light, to give off a glowing effect for a few hours, maybe. I didn't expect them to light up the room, but I did expect at least a faint glow.These are duds. NO GLOW AT ALL. I even put them on a windowsill all day and we get great light on those windowsills, which is why I put them on the other side of our heavy-duty room darkening curtains. The sun smashed into these covers all day and I got zero glow. I hit them with my husband's super bright flashlight and got nothing at all, and that thing's bright enough to have warnings in some states that it may cause blindness. Maybe I just got defective covers, but I got one color of each in this pack. They were cut from different pieces of silicone.They also don't fit a stock Roku remote. The remotes are all the same size with the same button placements, and the cut outs on these are either too high, (power button), too small and too large all at once, (directional arrows), too low, (return, sleep, * row), or too wide, (center play/pause button on next row), too skinny, (ff, rw buttons on same row as play/pause row). The only cut outs that actually fit decently are the bottom rows where you choose your streaming service and the home and back buttons.Anyway, I wanted a little glow to see the remote at night in case my husband drops it in his sleep or loses it in the blankets. Instead, I got a very soft, ill fitting, poorly cut cover with zero glow. We only keep them on now so that no one can say we stole their remote. We have 4 smart tvs or roku sticks in the house, so remote thievery happens. They're good for that much at least, but I wouldn't buy again or recommend these if you want a sleeve that actually fits or glows.

The cover is specific to the model of Roku you have. (More specifically the actual Roku remote model you have because the remotes can be paired with other Roku devices.) I know it 100% fits my Roku Express 4K+ with remote control model: RC-EL1 perfectly, and doesn’t fit remote control model: RC-AL7 perfectly around the power button. You could always carefully cut around the power button to make it work. Like cut a “V” shape into the cover from the edges of the power button hole towards the microphone hole. It works great then but the cover is still slightly long. Then you could trim the end opening if you really wanted it right but that’s too much work. Just check your Roku model to make sure you have the correct remote for this cover. Only downside is these are a pain to remove and changing batteries sucks! My Apple TV remote is rechargeable so that’s nice I don’t have to remove the cover on that remote, but these are AAA batteries that require changing frequently so that kinda stinks this cover is full coverage. The ones with the buttons exposed are way easier to take off to change batteries but then they come off more often when using. Nothing is perfect I guess lol
