Useful Information:- The directions on the package would indicate 1 package can treat 5,000 square feet.- You will need a hose or pump sprayer to apply this product.The Review:Initially I did not buy enough to treat my entire yard so I applied it to part of my yard and waited. Comparing the treated and untreated areas of my lawn after 2 months I would say the product works pretty well. It doesn't get rid of the same amount of thatch as a if you used a thatch rake, but it's a lot less effort. I'm happy enough with the result to have ordered more to treat the rest of my yard.

Very effective. I applied to our thatch-ridden lawn in the spring and watched as the thatch slowly vanished and the lawn where this was applied turned into an emerald carpet over the course of the summer. This was in a record heat wave, with half the water I used last year. I have no idea whether the water simply penetrated better, the roots grow stronger and deeper, or the microbes were constantly living and converting grass clippings to food.It took a few weeks for the results to show, but now it's unstoppable.

Needed this product to 'control' or 'eat' the thatch on our large lawn. It's been down for just about 3 to 4 weeks and as yet no discernable difference. I don't know how long it is supposed to take to work, but greenkeepers around here laugh at the possibility of success. I still have faith! I'll wait and see. If it doesn't work, I'll have to have the entire lawn relayed!Delivery brilliant! Very well packaged! A rating of 3 stars is just a guess now!

Too slow in. Might as well use the Coke soda treatment toencourage bacteria breakdown. Most the time to hot anddry to even use it. Best for fall time.
