I've been using Alexapure for 10 years now and it is by far the easiest and best water filtration system I have ever used. Would recommend to anyone trying to save money by avoiding water bottles and looking for truly clean water with a great taste!

It's expensive but for some reason I trust it's good. Haven't done any actual testing on it 😏

Sometimes I’ll get one that’s a nightmare and won’t drip. BUT it’s the only filter I trust. Been a customer since 2023. One filter usually lasts about 6 months.

For those saying they got a used filter, the filters come in a sealed bag that has water in it because the filter must always remain wet. Our first filter lasted a little less than 2 years, refilling the Alexapure about one time per day. Great value.

Don't know what the story is with these and this seller. The filters were pre primed as usual but the water level was really low. They weren't working. I contacted Alexapure customer support and they gave me a few options. The one that worked was to put them update down in water up to the opening and let them sit for 72 hours for the air bubbles to come out. At least they are partially working, but still not quite right. Don't know if they are conterfits, or were just improperly stored, or if they are old. Note this seller nor any on Amazon are an authorized reseller (as the Alexapure CS related to me). Was a hassle, will probably have to replace them in a month or two. Really felt ripped off with this one.

This was a replacement buy, didn't realize they'd be so expensive but alas they are but they cost about as less as I'd buy for years worth of water. The flow rate is ok slowly filtering out water in about 30 to and hour-is. Don't expect water to quickly filter its a slow process to ensure quality water. For first timers and for those neurodivergent who can tell taste differences, the water may taste off st first but after some time the taste no longer bothers. If anything just add some flavoring AFTER the water is filtered AND poured into a cup. Overall it was easy to install and fit my container model just fine, I have the model in which I can have 2 filters of this size in at the same time.

I purchased my system one year ago with two filters. The filters are still working delivering perfect tasting water in Miami Florida. I filter approximately two gallons of water per day. The only thing I've noticed is that the filtration rate has decreased substantially over the year. It just takes longer for the filters to filter an entire system's worth of water which is 2.25 gallons of water. I fill the system each morning before going to work and have pure filtered water for the next day. I switched from Zero Water to Alexapure because I believe that Alexapure removes more contaminants and has a higher filtration capacity (i.e. lower cost). Running the numbers, I used to spend $15 a month for Zero Water filters which approximates what two Alexapure filters cost me in a year's time however, the Alexapure filters are rated for 5,000 gallons which calculates out to 6.85 years at my daily rate of filtration (i.e. 5000 gallons / 365 days per year x 2 Gallons Per Day). Therefore, Alexapure should cost me 1/7 or only 14% of what it used to cost me using Zero Water filters assuming I keep my filters for 7 years. My filters probably just need a good exterior cleaning to increase their flow rate back to normal. I will be interested to know if these filters really will last me 7 years at 2 gallons per day before I have to replace them.

Great filter

Very disappointed. This filter does not work as advertised. With my previous filter from a cheaper brand, there was no smell in the lower chamber, and the water always looked and smelled clean. Unfortunately, that’s not the case with this filter. The water develops an odor and does not look pristine. I expected much better performance.

Arrived in about one week. Packaged well and ready to install in my alexapure. Definitely needed to be replaced as the water flows thru much faster. Price was also better than from alexapure website.
