I was really looking forward to the Heart Rate Monitor and Cadence features on this. It did not start well with the unpacking to find the magnet for the cadence being missing, I rigged up the magnet from my old speedometer to fill in and it worked.Next, programming, as these things go it was not too bad, once you get the pattern it is pretty quick. Instructions were OK, and installation was not hard, it comes with the zip ties needed to mount everything.Now for the bad part, using it, it intermittently looses connectivity with the wireless transmitter and requires resetting the transmitter or the computer or both, part way through a ride it ends the trip and the stats. Anytime the computer and the transmitter are separated you have to go through the rest process, sometimes it swaps the cadence with the tire rotation when you rest the transmitter or re-pair them. I take the computer off when I lock the bike up in public like anyone, but then have to mess with it to get it working again.Finally, the heart rate monitor would never pair, never worked at all and I even went out and bought the gel they suggested for better contact, nothing helped.My suggestion, skip this, not worth the frustration and this is going back. I got a email from them asking how I liked it and I told them the issues, they said, go talk to Amazon, albeit in a very nice way.In the end I went with a wired model of another brand and a separate heart rate wrist band, sometime KISS is the best approach.

The device is pretty good, except for the piece that measures the cadence and speed of the bike. It is mounted too close to the pedals, so any slight movement with the heel with knock it off. It will land in the spokes and break there.Also, on a modern frame, the sensor on the wheel is too far from the reader, so it doesn't pick up the signal.All you are left with is a heart rate monitor which is halfway useful.
