BC USA Japanese Mini Colored Pencils in Case with Eraser and Sharpener

I honestly thought these were going to be about half a pencil case size, so my thought was I would be able to replace them with regular sized color pencils if any of them ran out. To my surprise, they are SO much smaller THEY'RE SO PERFECT AND CUTE! Definitely good for like minimal highlighting and decorating in jotting ideas, reminders, or pocket journaling, ideal for what I had in mind in doing. Probably not so great for long term use tho, if you easily get hand cramps or strain.

These are so cute and fun to keep in a purse for a little whimsy or art moment. They even have a tiny eraser and sharpener. My niece saw mine from a local store and requested her own, so I bought these- exact same quality. Very happy.

As others have noted, these are extremely tiny. Note the word "Mini" in the product's name. The entire set is about the length and height of a credit card. There's a choking hazard warning in the product description - and the reality is that it might be possible to swallow the entire set, in its case, it really is that small! If you're looking for a set of colored pencils that can be used regularly then these are probably not it. For my purposes this is perfect: I'm a design professional and a while back I had a situation where I unexpectedly needed to provide a colored diagram on a moment's notice, during a court proceeding. There were no colored pencils at hand and I had to make do with a few scrounged highlighters. After that incident I wanted to be more prepared for any similar "color pencil emergency" in the future, so I looked for the tiniest, lightest set I could find so I can carry it around in my bag just for that sort of occasion. This fit the bill. These pencils are indeed very tiny but they really do work, though I guess it takes some dexterity working with small things. Having a sharpener and eraser in the same case is also great for preparedness for the next time I have to color something on the fly.

When they say “mini”, they mean “microscopic”! No one in their right mind would actually use these to color with! You almost need tweezers to hold them. Let alone try and color anything with them! I wanted small but not unusably small! It has a tiny sharpener and eraser that comes with the kit so, I thought those would set the scale of the size But even those items are seriously impressively tiny. Idk about coloring with them? Doll house stuff maybe

Adorable micro colored pencils that actually work very well. You just have to have small hands or able to handle tiny items. Some are grumbling about the small size, but if you read the description, it tells you exactly what to expect. This tiny item is perfect for a small travel drawing kit. I don’t use pencils that often, so this is perfect item to add to my watercolor kit, which is also tiny. Great for a stocking stuffer too. Update: The sharpener doesn’t work.

Too small for me to use

Review from 10yr old boy: Good size to carry around. Has usable sharpener and eraser. Only good for kid hands to use. Has all the colors I need.
