Overall, very good, tough knife, with a single limitation.
This is a very solid knife, with one main drawback. The indent and gimping for the thumb lies directly over the finger choil, rather than further along the blade, making a saber grip slightly cramped, as you have to draw your thumb back, rather than extending it over the blade, past your index finger. It's a shame, because otherwise the contour of the handle is nice; the blade steel (AUS-8) is great; it's wonderfully sharp out of the box; the full tang, ending in an impact tip that could serve as a glass breaker, is super; the sharpening choil is a nice touch; the sheath is excellent, offering superb retention. So, there is a lot to recommend this knife, but it won't be entirely comfortable unless you're prepared to move your grip back towards the heel, which feels a little precarious to me.
