They are created to worked in darker areas instead of staying on throughout the day. The solar panels were able to charge indoor s via my kitchen light. The power butting is easily accessible and there is also a nice button that you can have the lights stay solid or blink. They are lightweight and can hang from anything. I like the solar panel option because I can hang them outside without worrying about having the outlet nearby by, etc. Great product! Wraps around my mailbox perfectly. The stakes are normal in design and great to keep the solar panel in sunlight. Make sure you don’t use these in a darkened area. It won’t work as well when you turn them on. The solar panel is Also sensitive. Make sure that it placed in an area that won’t be in direct light when you use them. I sometimes turn it upside down to guarantee darkness and for the lights to stay on. Very cute and fun!

The first day I charged these, I moved them around to catch sun for several hours during the late fall. Then I wrapped them around my solar lamp post pole. The first night these lights were a brilliant cobalt blue from dusk all the way to dawn. During the mostly sunny days since then, they haven't gotten as big of a charge. On those nights the lights have been brilliant for a few hours, and then they fade for the next several hours until dawn. We wish they would remain bright all night with just a couple hours of full sun charging. We love looking at these beautiful bats on our lamp post every night, and we plan to get the same or a similar set for inside a sunny window of our vacant second home.

Great light set! Absolutely enamored the aged 5 and under trick-or-treater's. One little guy spent his time checking out the purple bats so intently he had to be coaxed to the candy. Then he didn't want to move on down the block.I didn't get them out until just a half hour before the kids started coming up the walk. Had to put the solar cell face down to get them to light because it was still to light for them to start. Had them on flashing and they were still going strong at 7am the next day.

This is as cute as it looks:) They stay on ALL night & I have the charger in a semi shady spot! This set only has 2 settings. One is VERY blinky.. the other is steady [my preference other tgan random slow change]

The description said that blue was a color choice......not the case. They are multi color steady or flashing lights. The bats are very small just a bit bigger than a quarter and if you are more than 5 ft away from them you can't even tell they are bats. Because you can't tell they are bats and they are multi colored .....not necessarily Halloween colors everyone will ask why you are putting Christmas light out? These were out one night and then I went to party city and bought Halloween lights for $7 ea....total cost $14. Other than what they look like they work great.

Great! Work well - I live in the city, 9th floor balcony, and with proper orientation (and a few bits of string) they're working nicely.

Product came with defective light and I had to return.... and then I saw sold at a cvs for only $8. So I'd say value is not very good for the money.

These lights are awesome! I got these to set up at our campsite this weekend, and I think it will be so much fun. I'm not sure if we will have any access to electricity at the campground so these are perfect being that they are solar powered. The lights are a very bright LED blue color and there are a few different functions, different flash patterns etc. Super fun halloween decoration!
