The touch ID button is not part of this purchase. But there are other problems with this hardware. It worked fine on my phone for like a few weeks then the screen no longer responded to touch. I got another one for $40 which was a whole lot better and easier to install because fewer parts needed to be transferred from old screen to new screen. Skip this one.

You need to install the original home button that came on the device. Apple programmed it like that for security reasons.
