Q: What are the dividers made out of? Do we get 26 dividers A-Z?

The other answer is incorrect - you only get the letters A-Z, no numbers or extras. They are a plastic/vinyl material.

Yes the letter is printed on both sides

Q: Does the length of the dividers (6 3/4) include the letter portion? I'm trying to figure out how much it will stick out from the cases.

6-3/4 is the total depth of the card including the protruding tab. The card depth minus the tab is about5-9/16. Great for cd's and dvd's. I don't have any blu-rays.

Q: what is it made out of?

I purchased a set of these for my cd collection as well as a set for my dvd collection. They are made of a thick plastic with embossed white letters. Very sturdy and a great way to keep these collections organized. I highly recommend them.
