I needed to light up my house more for Halloween, but these lights were too dim. They might be okay for a one-story house or indoors, but they didn't project well from two-stories. It's a deep orange color. Reminds me of how a heat lamp looks. I'm returning these and probably going to buy incandescent.

Light bulb does give off an orange light but it is dim. Not a bright orange and hard to see outside. I am returning.
