The ProduTrend CampChef Compact 10 Piece Cooking Unit was exactly what was needed for my first backpacking excursion on Catalina Island.Compact, lightweight and made of quality - This cooking unit set served it's purpose while going above and beyond!The cookware withstood HEAVY heat from a roaring wood fire and had soup / water boiled within minutes. As mentioned, it's lightweight / compact; each piece conveniently nestles within one another making the packing / carrying process quick and easy.The spork, mixing bowl and additional miniature serving bowls all served their purposes and are made of quality materials.Overall, the cookware is great for those individuals that are cooking for themselves in the great outdoors (or even at home). I just wish it came with a stove! :) 5/5

Great Boy Scout camping for just 2 people.

Be mindful of the size. This is not a full camping cook kit. It is small and lightweight (6" across), perfect for backpacking or in a bug out bag, but you won't be cooking much at a time. You will not be able to cook on a campfire with this; a small camp stove or sterno can is about all you could do without burning the handles. Again, if you want something small in a backpack, this is the perfect choice.The frying pan had a big dent and a scratch along the bottom. Not a big issue, but I'd prefer to beat up my equipment myself. Everything folds down or nests to fit in a compact carrier. One of the best things I purchased for my backpacking trip! This lightweight, portable, compact cooking set comes with a mesh bag for easy carrying. The whole set up probably weighs about a pound or so. I ended up utilizing many of the things in the set: pot, pan, ladle, spork, and two bowls. It is perfect for two people to use. Clean up was a breeze (but I guess that depends on what you're cooking). I wouldn't recommend this for actual camping, but it seriously was one of the best things I used for my backpacking trip. Great compact sturdy kit, not only for camping but for tailgating as well!! It's well made and although its small it serves its purpose!. That most important thing is it hasn't warped and its easy to clean and store right back into its little bag. I received this little set for a discounted rate for my honest and unbiased opinion, and I'm not disappointed at all. If you're in the market for a camping set thats compact, durable, and easy to transport this is the set for you!!
