So I decided to go for the brown version of what I thought was the same hat. It is a different hat. Different fabric, different cut/design, different manufacturer markings. Now that I look at it, the product pictures are accurate, so I will take some of the blame. The brown hat is ok, but is does not fit or feel the same as the grey. Review: Love! Actually surprised by the quality. It heavy denim and looks exactly like the Madwell one I was covering-but way better deal. Also perfect for those with slight larger heads. Fits me perfect and didn’t fly off (like most do) at the beach.

I have a pet peeve with hats that hit my ears too soon and end up kinda perched up on my head too high. This hat fits great! Not only that, it looks and feels good too! I bought the gray one, and it comes with a perfect, slightly-worn kind of look in the wash of the fabric. It's perfect! It also somehow feels lighter than a lot of my hats, and, in that way, it's just more comfortable too. All in all, it's impressed me in pretty much every way - feel, look, and comfort! :)
