This product would be a lot better if it did not rely on a cable adapter to allow it to fit the BMPCC. That is a potential failure point and after a couple of uses the adapter is already bent a little. The manufacturer should have built a cable that directly fits the BMPCC. That would be worth a few dollars more. The work around that I came up with is to employ a cage for the camera that captures the plug between 2 allen screws (widely available on Amazon). Now, it is much more secure. Otherwise, this product gets the job done. If you are shooting with a BMPCC the standard batter life is less than half an hour in the real world so an external battery pack is a must have.

I bought one of these (the Panasonic D-54 model, but with the same badly-designed termination and adapter for the BMPCC cited in the first review here). Unfortunately, the adapter is so loose that I couldn't get it to work at all. Not even with the Pro-X battery pack that I have successfully used with the BMCC 2.5K. I haven't tested it the other way around, i.e. the belt adapter with the BMCC 2.5K. But for the Pocket Cinema Camera, this product is a failure.
